He's a skilled and physical nickel/S that can tackle, cover and play in space. Works aggressively downhill to close space and can tackle both in the box and out on the perimeter. Shows his instincts and IQ in zone coverage and is quick to react to the ball. I had the chance to see him play in-person against San Diego powerhouse, Lincoln, and came away impressed by the athleticism he showed as a kick returner as well as the range he showed in coverage. He's an active nickel/S that can play at all three levels and is at his best when playing downhill. Could potentially make an early impact on special teams at the next level. He's a versatile athlete at 5'10"/180 that would fit in nicely as a physical second-level defender at the next level. Can stuff the box in run support, shows his IQ and lateral range/quickness in coverage over the middle of the field, and tackles aggressively in the flats. Finished among the state's most productive tacklers in each of the past two seasons, including 143 total tackles (92 solo) and 16 TFLs as a senior. Extremely physical run defender that likes to get downhill between the OTs and create havoc around the LOS. He's quick to react to his reads, can beat blockers to the spot with his first step, and hammers ball-carriers in the lane. He's a versatile EDGE defender that showed his ability to defend and contain the run, and drop into coverage as a senior for Bishop Gorman. Shows good mobility and range for his 6'3"/245 frame and flahses some promising skill as a pass rusher.
