Early Saturday afternoon, PrepRedzoneMN made our way to the beautiful TrainingHAUS facility in Eagan for a one-of-a-kind off-season event hosted by our favorite DL/OL/LB/TE technicians at LineofScrimmage. Not every day you see LOS coaching and consulting of this caliber host a free camp, but I don't think Minnesotans know what they have in LineofScrimmage. To the OL/DL/LB/TE parents and high schoolers reading this intro: get some work in with these guys. I've lived around the country and in some big-time football hotbeds, seen a lot of good trainers and coaches, and some bad as well, and LineofScrimmage is first class, led by coaches with legit NFL and college experience who are all products of the Land 10,000 Lakes themselves. The camp was limited to only 50 spots and was a high-energy hour-and-a-half session mixed with position-specific indy, competitive, unpadded, pass pro 1v1s, and a productive, technically-savvy live film breakdown of the immediately finished 1v1s in real time. Quite a workout for free.99! Led by the state's biggest grinder in 2026 Gophers DL commit [player_tooltip player_id='592117' first='Howie' last='Johnson'], check out the LineofScrimmage x Brute FREE Football Camp's Top Performers below!

Yet another in-person exposure point on the state's #3 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='592117' first='Howie' last='Johnson']. Does this kid ever take a day off? Despite having seen him around Christmas at another LOS event, I was much more in the weeds at this 50-person event and got to spend a lot of time next to the Forest Lake standout, including a conversation after the event, and I truly think his has grown taller since the summer. If I was a betting man, I'd put some money on him pushing 6'4, and his broad shoulders and filled-out lower body built on another half year of hard work in the weight room, and he's looking as monstrous and B1G-worthy as ever. With [player_tooltip player_id='591732' first='Andrew' last='Trout'] rightfully going down to New Orleans after getting invited to the Nike Next Ones offseason camp, where he proceeded to tear it up and earn a ton of national attention, it's crazy to me that Johnson isn't getting any regional or national camp invites and looks. Just another Minnesotan getting slept on I guess. Johnson was rightfully dominant at the LOS x Brute camp on Saturday, and frankly most of the OL at the event were scared of him. Johnson opened the 1v1 rep by putting the RT flat on his back with a powerful and well-executed hump move, earning some "oohs" and gasps from the crowd and making it as obvious as a blinking red spotlight that Johnson was the Alpha at the event. The competition wasn't up to snuff that day, to be honest. Johnson was frankly dominant thanks to his get-off, combination of twitch, and power, hand usage, and flat-out physical dominance. Gophers got a beast coming to Dinkytown soon.

Someone may be in for a rankings bump! My first time seeing Lakeville South's [player_tooltip player_id='1537111' first='Jaymel' last='Kalimu'] in person and he passed the eye test with flying colors! Reporting himself to be around 6'4, 240 on Twitter, I can believe the height after seeing him live, and his noticeable length could possibly hold around his reported weight, with a huge amount of room to fill in and add mass. Kalimu was a hard worker, breaking out a solid sweat quickly into the workout, and he was locked in and actively applying the coaching and techniques he learned in the drills and later in 1v1s. During 1v1s, Kalimu's inside moves were unstoppable, and his twitch, length, and sheer size were too much for OTs all day long. He didn't lose a rep on the day. LOS would really be able to get this kid right, and I'm looking forward to watching Kalimu tear it up on the upcoming camp circuit. I smell a stock riser!

[player_tooltip player_id='1255891' first='Ben' last='Knaup'] (East Ridge) 2026. DL.

Rocking tattoos, a mustache, and looking all of his 6'2, 240 lbs., East Ridge's [player_tooltip player_id='1255891' first='Ben' last='Knaup'] looked more like a grown man than a rising high school senior, and he was an eye-catcher in both appearance & performance throughout the LOS x Brute Free Camp. The versatile Raptor lineman and occasional fullback possesses a fun balance of twitch and power and does a good job of getting vertical and upfield where he can work and win to either shoulder of the offensive tackle. He's quick and sudden when he works an inside move, but the lead in his hands and bend at the top of the arc can also help him win to the OT's outside shoulder. Knaup uses leverage and positioning well, as he does a good job of getting a blocker to expose his chest and eventually back, as well as commit and turn their hips, where he can easily work across their face. He looked focused, locked in, and naturally reactive, in a positively mechanical fashion that was effective and successful against all of the OL in attendance. Possessing one of my favorite junior tapes in MN, I was excited to finally see Knaup in person, and he lived up to the hype.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633461' first='Pierce' last='Fogarty'] (Minnetonka) 2027. DL. 5'11, 215 lbs.

Not your biggest DL in attendance, but did show some muscle and build in his upper and lower body. However, Minnetonka's sophomore iDL [player_tooltip player_id='1633461' first='Pierce' last='Fogarty'] was a mismatch in pass pro settings and earned a ton of wins during 1v1s and praise from the LOS coaches working the event. Fogarty is a traits-heavy, positionally versatile defensive lineman who came out of his stance like he was shot out of a cannon. Great pad level, great use of his hands, and could string together pass-rush moves smoothly and efficiently. He was also twichty, the combination of which created more than a handful for OL to try and handle throughout the afternoon. Fogarty had OL skating backfield thanks to how fast he got upfield and out of his stance, and once he got his hands on it was game over, as he showed he was instinctive in his feel for an opponent's positioning and balance and how best to get by them for a win. He showed good bend and does a great job of staying and working tight over a blockers outside hip and shoulder, and demonstrated a super noticeable motor and competitive play style that give would-be blockers fits. Still a lot of runway left in Fogarty's development and growth, but it was good to see that the Tonka product is athletic and technically sound with some real juice as a pass rusher. Players like this can be really productive at the prep level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1533984' first='Haydin' last='Galvan'] (East Ridge) 2026. iOL. 6', 270 lbs.

A dedicated LOS offensive lineman out of the 6A ranks, East Ridge's [player_tooltip player_id='1533984' first='Haydin' last='Galvan'] was a top performer out of the OL group and a player who I have been excited to see a couple of times during the offseason. The 6A experience, as well as multi-sport athleticism as a lacrosse athlete, shows up well in Galvan's game, as he was the lone player to step up to the vaunted [player_tooltip player_id='592117' first='Howie' last='Johnson'], using a good base and his strength and balance to have a nice rep - albeit a narrow loss - against the Gophers commit in pass pro. Galvan is strong and solid once he gets his hands on, shows balance and fight at the point of attack, and is able to adjust and work laterally to handle quicker opponents effectively. Should be a player on NSIC/MIAC/WIAC/NAIA recruiting boards for the OL position in 2026. Also saw he just hit 315 lbs. on the bench press!

[player_tooltip player_id='1648453' first='Wyatt' last='Henderson'] (South St. Paul) 2026. iOL. 6'2, 270 lbs.

Owning a thick, powerful lower body at a legit 6'2, 270ish, Henderson was one of the best built OL in attendance, showing great size for the interior trenches in college and the ability to physically dominate at the point of attack. Henderson does a great job of stonewalling rushers when he sets his base and drops the anchor and is a strong kid who can redistribute and win at the point of attack. Strong hands, agile, and able to stay technically sound when forced to move laterally or backward, and is overall a good athlete with plenty of prep football experience to fall back on. I like how he projects to the next level as an offensive guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188011' first='Christopher' last='Monemy'] (Coon Rapids) 2026. DT. 6'1, 315 lbs.

Not only one of the top performers, Monemy was one of the biggest stock risers at the event. Massive interior DL with some impressive and hard-to-find athleticism, pass-rushing capability, and overall juice at a premium position on the recruiting trail. The big boy, who was a bull at the point of attack, light on his feet, and deadly effective with his hand usage. His heavy hands and raw strength helped him hit an awesome push-pull against one of the best blockers in attendance, push-pulled another OC onto their face in the best vs. best finishing 1v1 reps, and hit a good spin once he got the iOL committed and hooked in. The Coon Rapids rising senior smoothly worked some effective pass-rush moves. Kept his hands active and could counter an opponent's punch. When he got hands on and aggressively locked out and extended his arms, he sent some strong guards and centers flying off their feet and backward. Big, strong, mobile, and technically savvy is a fun and potentially can't-miss combination for a 6'1, 315 lb. DT.

[player_tooltip player_id='601376' first='Birk' last='Zeleny'] (St. Thomas Academy) 2026. DL.

Zeleny used a spin move a lot, but when it hit it was lethal, and he showed quick feet and did a good job of countering and using a blocker's hand placement or positioning against them. Solid showing during multiple portions of the LOS x Brute Free Camp at TrainingHAUS.

[player_tooltip player_id='1516213' first='Malik' last='Quadri'] (Apple Valley) 2026. DL. 6'1, 245 lbs.

Quadri is doing a great job of working hard and raising his stock going into his senior year, and he's got a chance to hit big on the offseason camp circuit this summer. The Apple Valley product possesses a quick get-off and is one of the twitchier DL in attendance. He owns a solid, powerful build with more room to grow, quick, active hands, and was comfortable and effective in pass rush settings against OL with all kinds of skillsets. Quadri has a ton of quickness to his game, which showed up in both drill work and 1v1s, and he was tough to handle laterally for would-be blockers. This kid is going to have a huge senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1629872' first='Jon' last='Wiseman'] (Providence Academy) 2027. DT. 6'3, 270 lbs.

A sophomore DL I think the state should be aware of, [player_tooltip player_id='1629872' first='Jon' last='Wiseman'] is looking to continue the high-octane trend of DL prospects coming out of Providence Academy as of late. It looks like he's up to the task too, as he's got some real-deal juice as a pass rusher from the interior and was physically effective, verging on dominant, against upperclassman competition at the LOS x Brute Free Camp. Wiseman displays a good get-off for his size, and the first step and quickness had OGs on their heels, guessing, and anticipating, which allowed him to use his size and strength to work half a man and win North-South with a mean chop rip or bull rush. He was also able to bend and win laterally, displayed an effective spin move that he sets up and works naturally, and a great first-step and strong rip through contact. Love how a kid of his reported size flies off the ball, and he could win reps in a variety of ways and looks technically sound for an underclassman with a balanced skillset of both power and quickness. We'll be hearing more about this kid soon, I think!

[player_tooltip player_id='1288355' first='Colin' last='Wickett'] (Minnetonka) 2027. OG. 6', 310 lbs.

Strong, solid sophomore with a good build for the interior at the varsity level of 6A football. Could eat and win against power rushes from oncoming DL, and showed good balance and some good hand placement in his pass set. Lot of football left for this young Hog Molly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1846048' first='Michael' last='Timmers'] (North St. Paul) 2026. OL. 6', 255 lbs.

A player new to PRzMN's radar, NSP junior OT [player_tooltip player_id='1846048' first='Michael' last='Timmers'] had a good showing against 6A, Metro-area rushers that he wouldn't normally face. A tough kid who was competitive and fearless, Timmers didn't mind sticking his face into contact and mixing it up with any and all opponent's. He did a good job of hand fighting and working for inside leverage, was strong enough to handle and overpower power rushes from 5Ts, and he can gain depth in his pass set and handle speedy rushers trying to get upfield. Timmers does a good job of staying square and timing out his punch well, which helped him adjust and win reps when rushers tried to work back inside as well, and he got some good wins against high-quality competition throughout the day. Good to see him working in as a LT too. Positional versatility is always a plus!

Asher Collins (Lakeville South) 2026. iOL. 6', 300 lbs.

A strong kid with a thick, powerful frame built for the interior of the LOS, Collins showed how and why he's able to stack up against 6A competition, as he was technically sound, strong, balanced, and loved playing with physicality. DIIIs and NAIAs should be all over this kid.

[player_tooltip player_id='348732' first='Mitchell' last='Kelvie'] (Lakeville South) 2026. OL. 5'8, 245 lbs.

Not the biggest OL in attendance, but the kid sure is competitive, as well as strong, balanced, able to counter, will keep his hands and feet active, and work laterally with success. Kelvie had a great win against Knaup, who tried a bullrush, and Kelvie got good inside hand positioning and stonewalled him right in his tracks. He's a strong kid whose natural pad level and balanced base make him a force once he sets his feet, drops his anchor, and digs in.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581387' first='Nasir' last='Yeah'] (St. Paul Harding) OL. 6'2, 275 lbs.

I was pumped to finally get an in-person look at Yeah, who is representing the 651's OL class very well. Yeah was physically eye-catching, as he's a legit 6'2ish who holds his weight very and has an overall athletic frame and skillset that showed up well during pass pro. Yeah did a great job of staying square, was laterally agile and could easily and smoothly change direction, and he had a good rep of him getting a dominant pass rush win with an emphatic finish against a strong opponent. Should be a must-know for colleges looking for beef in the 651.
