undoubtedly had a big summer on the camp trail. Wiseman may be the #1 Minnesotan on the 2026 Summer Camp Circuit in terms of MVP performances, as the DT won DL MVP at the MSU-Mankato camp, South Dakota State’s first prospect camp, and the Augustana (SD) camp early in the summer. Yes, he came into the camp circuit with a D1 offer from Northern Iowa, but Wiseman sure stuffed his offer sheet throughout the summer, as he earned offers from Sioux Falls, Bemidji State, Augustana, Minnesota-Duluth after his performance at the South Dakota State camp. His showing at North Dakota prospect camp #2 also netted him a shoutout from PRZDAK head scout

, and camping in Mankato reeled in an offer from the hosting Mavericks. Wiseman has D1 upside and potential, not just in his size and athleticism, as he is a multi-time All-District and PRZMN Showcase standout with notable and impressive athleticism at his size at a premier position on the recruiting trail. He has produced great tape two years in a row and has always shown up and shown out in 1v1 competitive settings, both padded and unpadded.
The 2025 tape shows a monster in the trenches with a great first step and overall get-off. Wiseman displays twitch for his size, exciting closing speed and overall play speed from the massive DT, and big-time pop when defeating blocks, which he follows up by getting his eyes up and finding the rock before sniffing the potential gain out. The defensive playmaker and game-wrecker from the iDL spot can easily shock & shed a would-be blocker after punching and locking out his arms effectively, and he can also easily eat up, split, hold a gap, and even destroy would-be double teams off the snap at the LOS. Excellent body control and is a great tackler in space, legit pass-rushing juice from the interior, and a noticeably and impressively athletic big body along the interior. A big-time rarity and value pick out of the MN 2027 class.

Easily one of the best Minnesota performances we saw in the 2027 DL group on Thursday in Grand Forks came from Providence Academy’s

. Jon was mightly overpowering during the board drills I got to watch and was close to perfect in winning his 1v1s in Grand Forks on Thursday morning. He showed off great hand placement and I love the development he’s made since my last live eval of Jon as far as how agile his hands have become. He wasted no time generating power rep after rep on Thursday and constantly barried OLs backwards right on line with great angles. Just one D1 offer and a huge plethora of NSIC offers have come thru for Jon in the last couple of weeks as he’s surely been a camp riser on the summer camp circuit that you need to know now, not later.

. Seems like we’ve been talking about the 6’2, 280 lber. more and more this spring, and for good reason, as Wiseman continues to make an effort to hit the offseason events trail hard and get in front of the eyes as as many college coaches and programs as possible. With verified size that fits in perfectly in the interior trenches, Wiseman has some serious twitch in his game, and is a nightmare for OL to handle in 1v1 settings. Starting with the LOS x Brute Free OL/DL/TE/LB camp, Wiseman has showed up and showed out at the PRzMN Combine Series, TrainingHAUS Combine, St. Olaf College Prospect Camp, and Augsburg Football Camp, earning top performer nods from PrepRedzoneMN at every camp and really building some experience and momentum going into the summer camp grind, which includes padded camps and 1v1 contests. Big, strong, physical, and quick, Providence Academy has another monster on their hands.

is making quite the debut as a Top Newcomer on the 2027 Ranking’s Big Board. It looks like Providence Academy is trying their darndest to go nearly back-to-back recruiting cycles with a big-time DT prospect, and as I mentioned with the aforementioned Olson, big-bodied iDL prospects are as sought-after as they are rare on the recruiting trail, meaning Wiseman has all the tools to potentially gain the same kind of recruiting momentum as Minnesota Gophers-bound

. PRzMN was lucky enough to get some eyes on Wiseman at the recent LineofScrimmage x BRUTE OL/DL/LB/TE Free Camp at the TrainingHAUS, where he passed the eye test at his reported size while displaying wiggle, power, and technical ability as a beast of a rusher during his multiple 1v1 wins. He’s a good athlete with standout size as a sophomore, and the tape is also worth getting excited about, as Wiseman – working primarily as a 3T – displays a great get-off, can bend his hips, and fires off the ball with low pad level, and can get skinny through blocking attempts around the LOS. He does a good job of engaging, finding proper high placement, and then working a move to shed a block and get into the backfield tight off the iOL’s hip, and his great base and balance can withstand and absorb contact while holding his gap to disrupt an opponent’s run game, even against double teams. He displays strong hands, and a good motor pursues flat down the LOS, and flashes an effective chop/rip can force himself into the backfield through contact. Plus, he does a good job of keeping his feet active, finding and pursuing the rock, and eliminating the RB in the backfield. I’m hoping we can get this dude to the PRzMN Showcase in April.
