Our latest ranking update for the state's 2026 class came out on Thursday. The latest ranking update now features the top 175 players in the state's 2026 class. Every time we do a ranking update, we dive into prospect breakdowns following each release. In this breakdown, we're putting the spotlight on five prospects who made significant jumps in the latest ranking update. We had several players leap up into the Top 30 this week. Now, anytime we publish a "stock riser" article, we're almost telling on ourselves for not having these guys higher in the first place. But nonetheless, these five guys certainly have our attention moving forward. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more 2026 breakdowns and more ranking updates throughout the next month!

Whenever we go into a ranking update, there are a handful of players that we know will make significant jumps and Rejoice Christian wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1403519' first='Xavier' last='Okwufulueze'] is one of those players this time around. Okwufulueze went from a prospect just outside of the Top 40 to squarely at #15 and he's now considered one of the top wide receiver prospects in this class. At the start of this last season, we were completely unaware of Okwufulueze and that changed very quickly. He's hard to miss and quickly became one of their top playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. The Rejoice breakout star helped guide the Eagles to their first state championship in school history and he had a solid performance in that championship game. And in the last two months, Okwufulueze has seen his recruitment absolutely explode with offers from all over the country.

Ranking Edmond Santa Fe defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='284115' first='Jae'Lin' last='Battle'] has been an absolute roller coaster over the last year. Battle has all the tools and looks the part of a next level prospect. Then he gets banged up and misses time. But when he's healthy, and that's what we're evaluating here, Battle is an absolute menace coming off the edge. He's also got a lot of momentum right now in his recruitment. After earning DL MVP honors at the Under Armour camp in north Texas, Battle has also earned the attention of college coaches. Battle has been offered by a handful of D1 programs in the few days following the camp and it shouldn't slow down moving forward. He's an absolute monster on the defensive line and again, when he's healthy, he's one of the best guys in this position group. We're looking forward to seeing more of Battle moving forward and he could end up moving up again this summer.

It felt like only a matter of time before things started to click for Owasso's [player_tooltip player_id='911962' first='Julius' last='Wilson'] as a football prospect. Wilson established himself fairly early on in his career as one of the state's best basketball prospects in his class. But after watching Wilson play football in person and on film during his sophomore season, it was clear to us that he was a guy that belonged among the better football prospects as well. Wilson moved from Holland Hall to Owasso and would become a big part of their passing attack from the wide receiver position. Wilson checks a lot of the boxes that college coaches are looking for. He has size, the athleticism is clearly there as a legitimate two-sport star and his hands are incredibly reliable. Wilson is still flying under the radar in a loaded position group but his recruitment is starting to take off and he moved into the Top 30 in this update.

Berryhill defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='887690' first='Harrison' last='Vaughn'] made the most significant jump as he was just outside of the Top 100 back in October and he moved up 62 spots. Vaughn is another member (alongside Battle) of the 2026 defensive line position that is getting deeper and more talented every single month. Vaughn has stood out to us on both sides of the ball in the past but we've locked him in on the defensive line and don't see that changing anytime soon. But then again, we shouldn't have had him outside of the Top 100 and he skyrocketed up in this last update so who knows what the future holds. One thing is sure, Vaughn plays extremely hard and is a fun player to watch on film. But we're definitely wanting to see more of that film and hopefully get a chance to see the Berryhill standout in person at some point in the spring or summer.

We feel like Broken Arrow's [player_tooltip player_id='402385' first='Tayshawn' last='Wade'] is in a similar situation to Battle where he just keeps going up and down and we're waiting for that moment where he just solidifies himself as one of the top guys in this class. In our opinion, Wade is one of the better wide receivers in this class and is extremely underrated as a prospect. He moved up 21 spots and into the Top 50 on this latest update because we think it's only a matter of time before his recruitment starts to take off. The Broken Arrow standout has all the tools to be one of the top wide receivers in the Tulsa area and there's no doubt that there are a lot of options in the 918 but Wade definitely belongs in the conversation. Wade had a really strong junior season and we think that he'll only continue to get better moving forward. Buy stock now in the standout from Broken Arrow as we look ahead to 2025.
