The 2025 Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit continued this weekend in Gainesville, Georgia with the first ever PRZ Southern Brawl. It was a great weekend of football in north Georgia and we'll have a ton of content dropping, looking at some of the best players that stood out throughout the weekend. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the BredWinners after they captured the 18U championship on Sunday. They made the long trip all the way down from Detroit, Michigan and walked away with some hardware.

After going 1-2 in pool play on Saturday, they responded by winning five straight games on Sunday to capture the 18U championship. That included beating a team in the semifinals that had beaten them in pool play the day before. BredWinners would take down YOG Select in the title game and with the win, they have earned a free bid to the Prep Redzone National Championship at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame on April 26th-27th. Below, we take a look at five of their players that stood out during the weekend. Keep it locked into Prep Redzone for more coverage of this weekend's PRZ Southern Brawl!

[player_tooltip player_id='1261323' first='Charles' last='“Tre” Britton III'] - 2027 Wide Receiver

2027 wide receiver Charles "Tre" Britton III is the perfect example of why I love covering the PRZ 7v7 Circuit. Coming into the tourney in Georgia as someone from Oklahoma, I didn't know Britton was one of the top overall prospects from Michigan. After watching him run around for a few plays, it didn't take long to assume that he was a freak athlete. Britton had a terrific showing throughout the weekend and it's no surprise that Britton is being heavily recruited already as a 2027 prospect. Britton made tough catches look routine throughout the two days in Georgia. Britton was dominant and he was dominant with a smile on his face.

[player_tooltip player_id='1290771' first='Deonte' last='Ellington'] - 2026 Wide Receiver

2026 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1290771' first='Deonte' last='Ellington'] was a sideline assassin when we got a chance to watch the BredWinners. In the championship game in particular, Ellington made multiple big catches on the sidelines, finding a way to get a foot, and in some cases, two feet in bounds and coming down with the ball. Ellington also utilized his speed to consistently create separation from his defender and he also had a high IQ and knew when to sit down in a soft spot in the defensive zone, making it just a game of pitch and catch between him and his quarterback. Ellington was definitely a big part of their championship win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1620792' first='Dreshaun' last='Johnson'] - 2025 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back

The PRZ Southern Brawl featured several 2025 prospects that are still soaking up the final months of being in high school. [player_tooltip player_id='1620792' first='Dreshaun' last='Johnson'] was one of those guys and he would probably be our pick for the MVP of the championship game. The dynamic Detroit standout was just that on both sides of the ball in the title game. He was dynamic on the offensive side of the ball and he also made big plays on defense. Johnson is a Grand Valley State commit and it's easy to see why he's headed to the next level. Johnson was an absolute stud in that championship win and that capped off a very impressive weekend for him in Georgia.

Jax Johnston - 2028 Quarterback

2028 quarterback Jax Johnston was the first of two quarterbacks from the BredWinners that really stood out to us throughout the weekend in Georgia. After watching a ton of football during the two days, we got a chance to see quite a few 2028 quarterbacks in the various division but Johnston was near the top of that list. And the fact that he was doing it in the 18U division when he probably could have played in the 15U division makes it more impressive. Johnston was incredibly accurate with the football throughout the tournament. As I made the rounds around the 18U division, Johnston was consistently hitting his targets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149421' first='Kendall' last='Franklin'] - 2027 Quarterback

BredWinners got it done this weekend with multiple quarterbacks throughout the tournament. In addition to Johnston, 2027 signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='1149421' first='Kendall' last='Franklin'] really stood out to us from start to finish this weekend. Franklin had an absolute rocket launcher attached to his shoulder and he was putting the ball in a position for his receivers to make a play. Running multiple quarterbacks isn't uncommon in 7v7 but what we like the most is when an offense doesn't lose any momentum when they put in a different quarterback. And Franklin made sure to keep the offense moving when Johnston came off the field.
