I have been going to bat for De'Mari for almost a year now. I know everyone sees 5'5 and recoils, but I am telling you right now this dude has the stuff to be great. He reminds me of Nick Hill from Chelsea back in the day. He has that low center of gravity and balance that makes him tough to tackle.

Just watching his film from 2024, you'll see pretty quickly that De'Mari has great vision and change of direction. You see multiple plays where he is patient and lets the play develop, and then hits the burners to get to the next level nearly untouched. Hendrix can do damage inside or out on the edge, just give him the ball and let him go to work. Hendrix has the chance to shatter what he did in 2024 going into next season.

I was super impressed with Foley when I got to see him work. He has nice contact balance, a good change of direction and has the ability to hit the jets and pull away.

Belleville has one of the best coaching staffs in the state, and I think with the right amount of ironing out on his skills, Trenton could take that next step. His size is ideal and it seems like he has that killer instinct to get into the end zone. Keep an eye out for this dude!

Davison has another spark plug in the backfield, just as they always seem to have. Lewis is another guy that seems to be on the right track to be a dominant force in the open field along with the strength to run between the tackles.

His highlights start off with a couple of nice carries where he is able to utilize superior change of direction and change of pace to make defenders miss. Other highlights display a solid stiff arm and some contact balance to get gritty yards as he falls forward. Weaker defenders pay the price when he gets through the line and lower his shoulder. This is a player that has a great chance to be an explosive varsity player soon!

Another Burnett is up and coming from Goodrich! Watching him in person and on film, I have noted just how physical and punishing he is as a runner. He has no problem being a bell cow back, or just being a lead blocking FB blazing a trail for his teammates.

Colton has good vision that he uses to exploit creases, and then he explodes through. He doesn't have tremendous speed or insane open field moves, but he has the strength to run through arm tackles, and lower his shoulder to move right through weaker defenders. He does a great job of dragging tacklers that go too high on him and keeps his legs churning. I really like what he can do between the tackles and hope to see him continue to build his speed to make him an all around threat out of the backfield!

Clarkston is so deep with skill talent, and Ty is another one of those pieces for the Wolves. Ty seems to be a natural runner with great vision and feel for what the defense is giving him.

His highlights typically show him getting the edge and using his speed and vision to weave through the defense. Whether it be getting to the sideline, exposing a cutback lane or having to hit a defender with a move to get by, Duffy can do it. He seems to have that explosive playmaking ability to scare defenses and make him think at any moment he could pop the big one. I would think he wears defenses out trying to chase him all over the field. Clarkston has another rising prospect in the backfield in [player_tooltip player_id='1337355' first='Ty' last='Duffy'].
