Braylon had a very impressive freshman year for the Buccaneers, statistically he was far and away their leading receiver on the season. Braylon had 38 catches for 578 yards and 4 touchdowns as the primary threat on a team playing in the toughest private school conference in North Carolina. As if that wasn't enough, Braylon also has been a monster on the recruiting scene, as physically he is ahead of many freshmen not only in North Carolina but in the nation. Braylon has strong hands, very good speed, and runs some of the most disciplined routes I have ever seen from a prospect at his age. Braylon has early offers from many Power 4 schools including Florida State, North Carolina, Miami, NC State, and Tennessee among many others.

Andre, or "3k" as he is known by his teammates and coaches, had a very impressive freshman year. Coming in ranked as our #18 overall player and #2 receiver in the 2028 class, Andre put up some big numbers statistically. Andre had 56 catches for 829 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season. Andre has some absolutely blazing speed on the field, and he can excel on deep routes as well as in the quick screen game. Andre can also work out of the slot and make some tough catches over the middle of the field. Andre is also a big-time threat on special teams as a kickoff and punt returner. As he continues to grow physically, the sky is the limit for what he can become in his high school career.

RJ had a nice productive freshman season for Lincolnton, producing 41 catches for 537 yards and 9 touchdowns, along with 38 carries for 270 yards and another 2 touchdowns. Defensively, RJ also produced 23 tackles and 2 interceptions. We considered putting RJ in the ATH category, but ultimately feel his future right now is with the ball in his hands on offense. RJ plays with a confidence that you don't see from many freshmen. RJ runs deep routes with good discipline and very good speed, making tough catches look routine. As a runner, RJ explodes into open space and doesn't get caught from behind in the open field. If RJ was a little bigger, I think we would be talking about a player with some early offers.

I saw Xavier live for the Mountaineers in the playoffs this past season, and he is a young man who exudes some real potential in the near future for this program. Xavier made some catches and plays on Varsity this past season that put him on our radar for a potential breakout next season. Xavier definitely has the size of a prospect with an upside at 6'3. Xavier does a good job of using his height and reach to high-point the football in one-on-one situations already. Xavier runs some good routes, and as he grows and gets faster and stronger, he will learn how to use his body to gain even more separation on some of those longer routes against man coverage. Xavier's future is a bright one, especially being a basketball player who shows some impressive athleticism as well.

Amari had a nice season and we felt like he deserved consideration in these first 2028 rankings for the work he put on film overall. in the 37 catches Amari collected this season, we see some strong traits that will transfer to the Varsity level. Despite his height, Amari shows an excellent vertical leap ability to make one-on-one catches down in the red zone. Amari also shows the ability to make defenders miss with the ball in his hands in the open field. Finally, Amari can make tough catches in traffic with some strong hands. It will be fun to see how he progresses after an offseason of weight room work and getting faster.
