2028 Rankings Debut: Top NorCal Offensive Prospects

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep dive into the top offensive prospects in northern California with the initial 2028 state rankings release. </h2>    Tuiileila started as a freshman for one of the top programs in the north and comes in as PRZ's second ranked 2028 OL prospect and #21 overall. At 6'3” 255 lbs. he's an aggressive blocker that plays with an edge. Violent at the POA, he accelerates his feet and hips through contact to overpower opponents and create immediate knock back. He blocks with heavy hands using a well-timed initial strike to stop opponents momentum before latching on to control the rush. A plus athlete with good body control, bend, and natural movement skills. Quick footed and mobile in his pass set, he shows good lateral agility and balance to mirror defenders on the edge. He's our highest ranked prospect without an offer yet but will see a lot come through when all is said and done.      Impressive physical skillset and dual-threat ability with great upside as he develops. 6'2” 200 lbs. he's a natural passer with a live arm to push the ball vertically or throw it on a line. Smooth arm action with an over the top release using good rotation in his hips and shoulders to generate velocity. He's efficient with his footwork in his drop back and as he maneuvers in the pocket maintaining good ball placement to allow for a quick delivery. Like his demeanor and ability to stand in the pocket with an oncoming rush and take a hit it without sacrificing his accuracy. A savvy athlete that is a legit threat as a runner, can pull it down and get to space on a broken play or effectively run the read option getting downhill with speed and strength. His recruitment could pop at any time.     Dynamic athlete that shows great initial quickness and burst through the first level. Possesses a strong compact frame at 5'10” 180 lbs. that allows him to run through contact and break tackles while maintaining forward momentum. Presses the LOS quickly and forces defenders outside their angles with his acceleration. Dangerous in space, he's got good start/stop ability to make lateral cuts and holds the speed to break away and cap off long gains in the endzone. Plus receiving ability out of the backfield, he's confident with his hands on screens and as route runner. 1,000 yard rusher as freshman with almost 1,300 total yards and 10 touchdowns. PRZ's third ranked RB in the debut 2028 state rankings.      High level athlete and talented playmaker with the ball in his hands as a receiver and in the return game. Possesses a dynamic skillset that blends his top end speed, twitch, and fluidity. Plus field vision and spatial awareness he's extremely elusive in the open field. He makes explosive lateral cuts in the short area and accelerates out to run away from defenders. Can attack a defense at all three levels with his ability to stretch the field vertically, find the soft spot in coverage at the intermediate level, or take short screens for long gains. Quick release move off the LOS against press coverage and will mix in head/shoulder movement at the break point to create separation. PRZ's sixth ranked WR in the 2028 class. Tons of upside as he progresses that will land him on recruiting boards before long.      Walker was the states fourth ranked passer in the 2028 class finishing with over 2,000 yards and 32 touchdowns while completing 64%. High football IQ for a freshman showing that he can work through his progression and process his reads. If somethings not there you see him consistently go to his second and third options. Not afraid to check the ball down and give his receiver an opportunity to make a play after the catch. Like his ability to manipulate defenders with his eyes by looking them off to open up a throwing lane. Throws a good ball with touch and is able to layer it over the top of second level defenders. On the run, he does a good job getting his shoulders around and squaring up his hips to maintain accuracy outside the pocket. One to watch with a strong foundational skillset to build on.      Jones is one of the top 2028 QB's in northern California after an impressive performance throughout the 2024 season. He's a highly athletic and versatile quarterback with the ability to be a difference-maker both as a passer and a runner. Can really open up an offense with his improvisation skills and mobility. Shows advanced awareness in the pocket, he's able to feel pressure and adjust his positioning to create a throwing lane. Compact release that accelerates to put velocity on tight window throws and allows him to get the ball out quickly. Demonstrates good ability to throw on the run to either direction and from different off balance platforms. Clean and consistent footwork and mechanics throughout the play from his drop back to his release. Lands inside the top 50 overall and is the 11th ranked QB in his class.
