Walker is quickly establishing himself as one of the top passers in his class across the state, and has been putting up video-game like numbers over the past 2 seasons. Now a sophomore and one of the top passing leaders in the SJS, he is off to a terrific start and has all the tools/mechanics needed to be a next level guy. He can get the ball out quick, has a snappy release and a strong arm downfield while showing proper ball placement and touch over the top and is a underrated scrambler when needed while able to zip it on the run/make off platform throws. He had a terrific week 5 and threw for 400+ yards and 6 touchdowns in a blowout win over Tokay.
Walker was the states fourth ranked passer in the 2028 class finishing with over 2,000 yards and 32 touchdowns while completing 64%. High football IQ for a freshman showing that he can work through his progression and process his reads. If somethings not there you see him consistently go to his second and third options. Not afraid to check the ball down and give his receiver an opportunity to make a play after the catch. Like his ability to manipulate defenders with his eyes by looking them off to open up a throwing lane. Throws a good ball with touch and is able to layer it over the top of second level defenders. On the run, he does a good job getting his shoulders around and squaring up his hips to maintain accuracy outside the pocket. One to watch with a strong foundational skillset to build on.
