After an outstanding sophomore season being ranked second in the 2028 class in rushing yards, Radcliffe climbs 20 spots to #50 overall. At 5’10”, 205 pounds, the sophomore back has already made a big impact, posting 1,517 yards and 16 touchdowns on 189 carries. He’s currently ranked as the No. 5 running back in the 2028 class in the PRZ state rankings and holds an offer from Sacramento State. A physical, aggressive runner, he plays with a strong, compact frame and shows a balanced blend of speed and power. He’s more than just a between-the-tackles bruiser with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield adds versatility to his game, making him a complete back with D1 ability. Strong genes, with brother being a top 2024 recruit that pulled in 10 offers and plays at San Jose State.

Radcliffe is one of the top 2028 rushers across the state and checks into our most recent rankings update before the season as a top five back overall and inside the top 70. He is a violent and balanced runner that can get downhill quickly, runs behind his pads and has terrific contact balance and keeps his legs going through contact. He also shows good open field speed in the clear and has excellent hands out of the backfield. He had one of the top performances in all of Norcal this week, rushing for 209 yards averaging 11+ yards per carry on the night.

Radcliffe is one of the top running backs across northern California regardless of class, and took over the region in his first prep season for Sacramento High. He is a natural ball carrier with forward lean, never goes down on initial contact and can break tackles both in traffic and the open field. He shows he can bounce off tacklers, shows good leg drive through contact and forces defenders to take bad angles in the open field with sneaky third level speed. He shows he can also catch the ball out of the backfield and get up-field quickly, and is a terrific overall athlete that is another no brainer FBS caliber prospect that should be closing in on his first offer. Heading into 2025, he is one of the top offensive players in all of northern California and should have another monster season.
