This sophomore cornerback was a big time playmaker for the Class 4 state champion Crusaders with a breakout season of 53 tackles, 6 interceptions, 2 touchdowns on turnovers. Evans could have played either side of the ball but was pressed into starting at CB after starter transferred and made play after play using his impressive timing, ability to lock on to receiver and big time ball skills. He is a complete corner with physical play against the pass and run.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188456' first='Ethan' last='Bain'], OL/DL Parkway West

A rising athletic big man who showed a ton of promise on both the offensive line and at defensive end where he recorded 37 tackles and a sack. Bain's unique combination of size and athleticism should begin to darw attention this off season. He's explosive with a good motor, quick feet and good strength. He's trained primarily at OL but I liked what I saw from him as a DL. Big upside to watch for.

[player_tooltip player_id='1198137' first='Drake' last='Gilkison'], WR St. Joseph Central

Gilkison first caught my attention at a camp as an 8th grade with his advanced physical development, speed and pass catching ability. He had a break out season as a sophomore averaging 22.5 yards per catch on 29 catches for 651 yards and 6 touchdowns. He's a tough match up with his combination of speed, route running and power. With his skills he can play inside or on the outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188303' first='Zach' last='Harsha'], OL Lee's Summit

A versatile young offensive line prospect who can play both guard and tackle. Harsha started on varsity and showcased his impressive ability with his run blocking in stacking up pancakes and his pass pro utilizing his quick feet. good punch and long arms against pass rushers. He also has good strength and use of leverage in the run blocking, along with the quickness to get out and block multiple defenders and get downfield on blocks. No question his stock will continue to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188450' first='Ethan' last='Leonard'], OL Jefferson City

One of the more athletic young offensive linemen in the state. The Mid-MO prospect first caught my attention as an 8th grader with his physical development and explosive athletic ability, quickness and willingness to learn and train. He had a breakout season playing tackle and guard showcasing his ability to fire off the ball quickly and engage and sustain blocks to the whistle which resulted in pancakes most of the time. His athleticism and power allows him to make multiple blocks on plays and get downfield driving his block even further on plays. Has good feet, kick and technique in his pass pro. Allowed zero sacks in 2024.
