Coming off a breakout junior season where Thompson earned Class 4A Mr. Football, the Tigers quarterback came into the #PRZTN Winter Showcase and won MVP for his position. It was an outstanding day from this Mid-TN passer as he displayed excellent poise along with smooth mechanics and nice zip coming out of his right arm. On several occasions, Thompson made the precise throw where the ball needed to be but also showed the arm strength needed to contend on the college level. The Tigers rising senior is also a good athlete that tested well. This coming off-season will be big for Thompson and he kicked it off in a big way at our Winter Showcase by taking home MVP honors.

Last year as a freshman, Ferguson earned RB MVP honors and this winter, he did it again after a stellar performance at the #PRZTN Winter Showcase. From the testing portion of camp all the way into 1 on 1 action, Ferguson was as consistent as any player in attendance. The Red Raiders ball carrier tested well but he really shined when we reached positional teaching and 1 on 1 competition versus the linebackers. His quickness and elusive body movements were difficult for the linebackers to handle. Ferguson has an excellent burst about himself that gives defenders fits but also simply has a great feel for the game. This Fall, you should see Ferguson gain a bigger role with his Red Raiders team and potentially become a game changer.

Out of all the receivers at Saturday's Showcase, Moua proved to be the top performer due to his elite quickness and speed coming off the line. What's most impressive about his MVP performance is the fact that Moua only stands 5 '4 but the dude is fearless and he plays much bigger than his size. He was nearly unguardable throughout the camp. Defensive backs had a difficult time keeping him in front because Moua was not only quick off the snap but his route running was on point too. It will be a difficult road for Moua to attract college coaches due to his size but his lower body quickness and speed are traits that do translate well to the next level, so it will be interesting to see how things play out for him.

One of the best O-linemen from our #TN2025 class came into Saturday's Showcase with a lot of buzz and Goforth more than backed it up as he took home O-line MVP honors for the second year in a row. The day started good for the Cherokees big man where he tested well, running a 5.1 forty then proceeded to look clean and smooth during positional work. He stepped up things even further once we reached the 1 on 1 portion of camp where Goforth dominated. This East TN talent used his athleticism, balance and power to keep D-linemen in-check, showing why he could be the top guard/center prospect from our rising senior class. Expect to see Goforth's recruitment explode soon, especially with more off-season performances like this one.

There was stiff competition on the D-line at the Winter Showcase but Smith proved to be the top guy, earning MVP honors after a consistent, physical performance. The first thing you like about Smith is his size and overall girth. His physical look proved to be a difference maker during 1 on 1 competition where O-linemen had a hard time keeping in front. Smith used his brute strength and good handwork to get around blockers on a consistent basis. The Hornets rising senior is not just a bully versus the run but he proved on Saturday his ability to rush the backfield as well. Continued development with his lower half agility and explosion could start turning the heads of collegiate coaches and boost his recruitment.

Out of all the upperclassmen linebackers at the Winter Showcase, Jones proved to be the top performer, earning MVP honors after his camp work and proving he is a prospect to watch moving forward. The Cougars rising sophomore was the most consistent linebacker throughout the day as he did well during testing but really stepped up his game when we reached positional work. Jones showed nice instincts along with a good burst towards the ball. He also showed well with his coverage. This is a versatile backer that does need time to continue building his body but from a football IQ and feel standpoint, Jones handled himself more than well against older competition.

Traveling down to Mt. Juliet from out East for this Showcase, Huffine, Jr made a name for himself with an outstanding performance that earned his MVP honors for the defensive backs. The Panthers defensive prospect had some of the best man to man coverage work throughout camp, using his long arms and lower base agility to stay on path with the opposition. The key thing that helped Huffine, Jr was his speed. Even when a receiver made a good move on him, the Panthers defensive back recovered nicely, using his speed to catch up and make a play on the ball. He does need to continue hitting the weight room and packing on the needed pounds but Huffine, Jr is a skillful young man that could be on the verge of a breakout off-season.
