Bettendorf's [player_tooltip player_id='1609271' first='Gavin' last='Stecker'] will be a player you can expect to debut with a high ranking once the '27 is released. Gavin stepped up big time on a defense that helped the Bulldogs to a successful season and ended with him earning a P4 offer from Iowa State. Stecker racked up 58 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, and a forced fumble while flexing great range and physicality from the linebacker position. He quickly triggers downhill when he keys on the run and is smooth when transitioning into pass coverage. Stecker has a solid frame at 6'3" and 200 lbs that he uses very well to drive through the ball carrier when making tackles. His size and strength also allow him to fight through blockers as he works his way through the line of scrimmage. Great pursuit and closing speed. The Iowa State offer won't be the last for this Bulldog!

The Bettendorf Bulldog's 2027 class is shaping up to be a great one, with another sophomore prospect making a rise. [player_tooltip player_id='1361135' first='Tyler' last='Nielsen'] jumped onto my radar at the Stock Up showcase, where he displayed great athleticism during the testing portion while flashing his coverage skills during drills and 1v1s. Tyler plays safety on the Bulldog's defense, where he impressed with his fluidity and range in coverage. He quickly recognizes pass concepts and can adjust on the fly while keeping his eyes on the QB/ball. Nielsen flashes twitchy instincts which he trusts fully as he will often look to jump routes to make a play on the ball.

Big time prospect with the potential to draw tons of FBS interest. Will is a monster at 6'4" and 280 pounds, with the athleticism and footwork that projects well to the next level. He is extremely physical at the point of attack and will 100% take you for a ride if you let him gain leverage by working his hands inside. Slagle's legs are constantly driving from snap to whistle as he's always looking to send his opponent into the dirt. Good bend at the hips with consistent pad level, even when engaged with defenders. Will also displays great lateral burst and explosiveness, especially as he works his way to the second level to clear out running lanes for his RBs. Won't be long before colleges start making some offers!

Lewis Central's [player_tooltip player_id='1207814' first='Hunter' last='Infanger'] is another player who further bumped his stock at the NE/IA showcase. Hunter was a key player on a formidable Lewis Central offensive line, among the best in class 4A. Infanger is a sturdy center with a strong base that he uses to anchor down when engaged with defenders and then uses his leverage to overpower them.

Massive breakout campaign for [player_tooltip player_id='1204437' first='Jordon' last='Green'], who crossed the 1,000 all-purpose yard mark in his first full season as a varsity starter. The speedy receiver hauled in 45 receptions for 670 yards and nine touchdowns while also flashing his twitchiness as a returner with nearly 400 return yards. What stands out from Jordon's tape is his explosiveness at the line of scrimmage and how well he can press defensive backs with his speed and attack their leverage with his route running.
