[player_tooltip player_id='739440' first='Tait' last='Reynolds'] had an exceptional year for the Queen Creek Bulldogs, leading them all the way to the 6A semifinals. It's rare to find a quarterback with the refined mechanics of a pocket passer who also has the athleticism to rush for 1,426 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games. Reynolds' versatility doesn't stop there, he'll even hop in at linebacker and rush the passer with his 6'4" 205 lb frame. His combination of speed and strength makes him so dangerous and difficult to get on the ground. Committed to playing two sports at Clemson, Reynolds' future is incredibly bright.

[player_tooltip player_id='1353825' first='Lucas' last='George'] is an incredibly well-rounded back who's got a nice feel for the game. With both George and Reynolds being such threats with the ball in their hands, they ended up opening things up a bit for one another and George made sure to take full advantage. At 6' 200 lbs, he's got some good agility that allows him to work his way through the chaos of the trenches. He also possesses the strength to lower his shoulder and get through tough yards when the situation calls for it. It's not just running the ball though, George is also an asset in the passing game with soft hands and some nice routes. Recently committed to Eastern New Mexico University, he's a player who's sure to make an impact at the next level.

Reese Bodily had an incredible season for Mountain View in 2024. Finishing his final year of high school football with more than 1,500 yards and averaging eight yards a carry, his burst jumps right off the film. When defenders are able to get their hands on him, he does an amazing job of being able to bounce off without losing his balance. He's so slippery and has nice vision once he breaks through that second level, often taking advantage of the open space. Bodily finished incredibly strong and ended up with one of the best seasons by a running back in school history.

When you watch [player_tooltip player_id='1369417' first='Brady' last='Goodman'] work the pocket, you wouldn't necessarily peg him as a dangerous threat with his legs. At 6'4" 200 lbs, he's a tall and lanky body who has a smooth release and does a nice job of throwing his receivers open down the field. But once he escapes the pocket, his long strides and strong base reveal some sneaky speed that can really catch a defense off guard. Goodman doesn't force things down the field and won't hesitate to take off if his receivers are covered. In his junior season, he had an astounding 54 total touchdowns to just 4 giveaways — showing just how good he is at creating explosive plays, without putting the ball in harm's way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1198983' first='Keshawn' last='Barkus'] really burst onto the scene in 2024. As just a sophomore, he managed to average 117 yards a game and was really impressive in open space. Standing at 5'9" 200 lbs, he's an incredibly tough runner who always seems to be running like his life depends on it. His legs never stop churning, no matter how many defenders have him wrapped up. When he gets a sliver of open space in front of him, he has the speed to go the distance and make the defense pay for it. With another two years to continue to develop, the sky's the limit for Barkus.

Another player with really long strides that can turn it into another gear in open space, Elliot Reed is a real dual-threat quarterback. His legs are just as dangerous as his arm and he's not at all afraid to use them. Reed consistently finds seams in the defense and immediately exploits them. One of the standout parts of his game is his ability to use the threat of the pass to open up more space to run with the ball. Because he's able to keep his eyes downfield and stay ready to throw at all times, defenders have to respect that and he ends up with nothing but green grass in front of him. With both Reed and Barkus returning for the 2025 season, they're going to be a dangerous backfield for defenses to line up against.
