Had a breakout junior season throwing for 3,087 yards and 43 touchdowns with only four interceptions, all while completing 64% on 314 attempts. 6’4” 215 lbs. the Utah State commit possesses many key traits that colleges look for in a future signal caller with his combination of smooth mechanics, high-level accuracy, and plus athleticism. Ranked #35 overall and the #3 QB in the PRZ state rankings and could be the state’s passing leader in 2025.

The Utah State commit cracks my top 10 on this list (top 3 in my personal opinion) in the state, as I think Utah State is getting a steal with Goodman- as I had him projected as a P4 talent. Really good size and build at 6’4″ 205lbs and is mechanically sound in the pocket with a good demeanor. A natural arm talent with a live arm and possibly the quickest release out of any QB in the state. He does an excellent job throwing with anticipation, and has shown the ability to hit all 3 levels of throws with velocity, touch, or finesse. The velocity he gets on those intermediate level throws is very impressive. athletic enough to be a difference maker on the ground as well when he takes off, as he comes off a season where he threw for over 3,000 yards and 43 TD’s with just 4 picks, and added 450 yards and 11 TD’s on the ground.

, now officially committed to Utah State, made it easy to see what the Aggies liked in him. Even before he threw a pass, he stood out just walking onto the field — the dude is massive. But what really caught my eye was how smooth and controlled his game is for someone with that kind of frame. He’s got one of the cleaner deep balls I saw all night, and it’s not just arm strength. He’s got a sturdy base, clean footwork, and keeps everything in rhythm, which allows him to really drive the ball without overexerting. A lot of bigger QBs can look stiff or slow-footed in a 7s setting, but Goodman didn’t fall into that trap. He moved with intent, reset his platform when needed, and didn’t let his size turn him into a stationary target. He was also accurate all night long. Didn’t matter the route — he was hitting guys in stride and giving them a real shot to make plays after the catch. It wasn’t a loud or flashy performance, but it was mature, steady, and incredibly efficient. Utah State got themselves a guy who’s still getting better, and that’s a scary thought.
