We "keep er movin" as they say in Wisconsin with focusing on more Outstate prospects that in these eyes, I believe can play at the next level. This grouping has a lot of small school quarterbacks that were impressed during our tape session this afternoon.

Eli pops out from the first clip on tape showing off a mobile 6'1 170 pounder that shows off not only great arm strength from the run, but the ball placement stood out in my eyes too on intermediate routes. Even inside the pocket, I was impressed with the quick reads and release this young man showed off as you can gauge the versatility of where this young man excels in and outside of the pocket. All in all, Eli shows off the great balance across the board as a quarterback I believe can play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='592228' first='Colton' last='Ford'], QB, Randolph 2026 Twitter

The 6'2 175 pound 2026 quarterback from Randolph, shows off as another gunslinger that intrigues me. He shows off excellent touch on all three levels of the field. Colton also shows off distinguished poise you can gauge quickly from his throws inside the pocket. Colton also shows off great timing with his receiving core and with his precison, allows them to get downfield after the catch. Colton surely is one the best 9-man quarterbacks I have seen so far in this 2026 class by far with a great shot to play at the next-level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1489404' first='Michael' last='Kovall'], QB, Annandale 2026 Twitter

Every few years since I have scouted for PRZ Minnesota, the Annandale Cardinals have had a quarterback with basketball size as their gunslinger, which in the 2026 class is 6'4 200 pounder [player_tooltip player_id='1489404' first='Michael' last='Kovall']. Michael shows off the long arm talent he has quickly, and one that you can already tell is growing his mechanics to be smoother this offseason with 612Qs which I love to see already in January. He has some upside too with his arm angles and ball placement, but I surely believe by the 2025 season, his growth will be seen well-versed in the 3A football scene. Need to see a junior tape from Michael, but the reps I was able to find from this season were surely intriguing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1256241' first='Hayden' last='Swenson'], QB International Falls 2026 Twitter

Hayden is a 2026 quarterback from International Falls that showed off a loaded arm in our tape eval today. The 5'11 175 pounder threw for almost 1900 passing yards as a junior and is one on intermediate and deep routes, shows off the sound touch I wanted to see from his first look. His ball placement is highly consistent, as he makes a lot of throws that only his wide receiver can get it and when you add in his precision on those same throws, you have to like what you see. If you are a college coach that recruits the Iron Range, I would surely give Hayden a look, as he also is excellent in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120576' first='Savy' last='Vath'], QB, Rochester John Marshall 2026 Twitter

Savy is a QB standout I recall from our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcases, as one that stood out on tape in this Outstate gunslinger tape session. He shows off a relaxed demeanor inside the pocket and that follows suit when you watch any of his throws. He also shows off the football IQ to utilize his legs as I was impressed with how quick he got downfield with his sudden burst. He shows off the good precision with his intermediate and deep routes as you find a good base of persisency from Savy on tape. With his athleticism out of the pocket too, I am sure that could show some college coaches position flexibility with how quick and instinct he shows off to be with his legs. He'll be one I'll be curious to find out positionally what the college coaches think at camps this summer.
