The 2024 WV high school football season has completed and now it's time to spotlight the 2026 class with the winter rankings update. Here are the new offensive prospects who were added to the Top 150 rankings.

2026 Keyser specialist [player_tooltip player_id='1605246' first='Tommy' last='Nash'] earns our #1 K ranking in the class in the winter update after a strong 2024 season for the Golden Tornado. Nash converted on 3/5 field goals this season and was a perfect 30/30 on extra points. He also flashed a big kickoff leg with 14 touchbacks while also handling punting duties with a 36-yard average and 12 pinned inside of the 20. Nash is ranked as a 4.5-star prospect by Kohl's Kicking and should be a scholarship specialist at the FCS or D2 level.

We recently got to see 2026 Musselman TE/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1138548' first='Josh' last='Armentrout'] at the PRZ WV Stock Up Showcase earlier this month and he now ranks as a Top 125 athlete and #6 TE in the 2026 class. Armentrout measured in at 6'3 218 at our camp and has legit TE size for the D2-level. He was right in the mix as a WR Top Performer at the camp as a TE and has the potential to grow into a DE prospect as well. Armentrout has the athleticism and ball skills to develop into a true pass-catching threat in the right offense and has plenty of experience blocking in Musselman's new run-focused offense.

Another 2026 prospect who impressed at the Stock Up Showcase was Wirt County QB [player_tooltip player_id='882030' first='Tyler' last='Smith'] who took home MVP honors. He now places as the #6 quarterback in the class after also having a very strong junior season for the Tigers. Smith threw for just under 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns at the small school level as one of the top passers in Class A. He's a lanky athlete who will benefit from added size with his 6'3 frame which will transform his game to new levels. Smith is also an underrated athlete who can take off and run when needed which he'll be able to do more frequently with a more durable build. Although still a raw prospect, D2 programs should be keeping tabs on Smith next season as a potential offer-worthy candidate.

Another 2026 Musselman prospect who debuts inside of the Top 150 is RB [player_tooltip player_id='1580328' first='Nate' last='Lasure'] who burst onto the scene for the Applemen this season. Lasure benefitted from the shift in offensive scheme this season rushing for nearly 1,200 yards averaging over 6 yards per carry. He's a well-rounded running back who can be utilized in a variety of ways, and Musselman did just that. You can find him taking direct snaps on his junior tape, taking a variety of handoffs and pitches in their Wing offense, catching passes out of the backfield, and returning punts. Lasure has a good mix of speed and power and the frame to continue adding size to benefit him further between the tackles.

2026 Philip Barbour prospect [player_tooltip player_id='894893' first='Patrick' last='Webster'] embodies the ATH label in our rankings after showing a versatile skillset in his junior highlight tape. Webster was a very good returner for the Colts this season averaging nearly 30 yards per kick return and a touchdown. The bulk of his other film is at DB which he was nearly ranked as and showed real potential with the possibility of being ranked there after next season. Webster has natural playmaking ability and seems to make a big play whenever the ball reaches his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1324952' first='Nate' last='Easterling'] had the tough task of replacing long-time Scott starting quarterback Matt Frye this season after coming over from Chapmanville and did some good things in year one for the Skyhawks. He's a gunslinger and a bit unconventional at times, but he will make some plays that a lot of other quarterbacks wouldn't attempt. Easterling can continue to make strides in his mechanics, especially using his lower body to help drive throws and relying less on his arm and shoulder to make throws. Stepping into his passes more often would take his game to the next level and raise his ceiling higher as a prospect, but the other aspects of his game show you he has upside and potential at the college level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1138216' first='Liam' last='Waldeck'] earned a starting spot on the talented Wheeling Park offensive line this season at left tackle and now rounds out our 2026 Top 150 rankings. He'll need to keep adding size over the off-season to raise his ceiling but has the tools to earn D2 opportunities during his senior year. Waldeck is a good athlete for a big man and can play in space and can roll out on screen passes and block down to the second level. He also plays with an edge and is a physical blocker who plays until the whistle. Waldeck has strong hands and a powerful punch which will make him very intriguing once he further adds size.
