Today, I will be diving into the 1A community. 1A often gets overlooked, so I wanted to give a spotlight to some of their players. This is the first in my Colorado All-Stars series. I will be delving into each of the different leagues from 1A to 5A. Let's dive into it!

Starting this list off is [player_tooltip player_id='1194111' first='Sullivan' last='Strange']. The senior out of Forge Christian threw for 2004 yards on 107/171 with 63.7% completion rate with 29 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. The dual threat QB had 70 carries for 546 yards and 9 touchdowns. He has good athletic ability and showcases it with his mobility. When you throw on the tape, you'll see his cannon of on arm. Very good throw power. Strange has good accuracy at all 3 ranges. He excels with off platforms throws, and makes completions off his back foot. Very good throwing on the run. Strange has a nice touch to his throws, and would make an excellent addition to a FBS or FCS team.

Meisner is a dual position stud, playing RB/LB. Leading 1A in rushing yards, touchdowns, and 2nd in tackles, opposing teams couldn't get away from him. He ran 196 times for 1764 yards, and 28 touchdowns, 9 receptions for 216 yards and 3 touchdowns, 1 fumble. 130 tackles (90 solo, 40 assisted), 14 TFL, 1 sack, 3 PD, 1 FR, 3 FF. Meisner uses his elite athletic ability to dominate both sides of the field. He has elite acceleration, speed, very good balance, and change of direction. Very good strength. On the offensive side, he's like a bowling ball. Running through the defense using his elite vision. His catching is an underrated skill of his. He shows his very good adjustment skills by adjusting to a low thrown ball and making the catch. Gains a ton of yardage after contact and has breakaway speed. As a LB, he plays through the whistle assisting his teammates with tackles. He's a heat seeking missile as he rushes through the gaps. Very good tackler and run stopper. Meisner has very good zone coverage and can match up well with athletic tight ends and wide receivers. Fantastic player who should have FBS and FCS teams knocking down his door.

Palmer feasted on offensive lines this past season. The 6'5 220-pound DE/TE had 73 total tackles (42 solo, 31 assisted), 28 TFL, 11 sacks, 49 QB hurries, 9 PD, 7 FF, 2 FR. As a tight end, he had 17 receptions for 306 yards and 1 touchdown. Palmer has very good athletic ability due to his very good acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. He has a very good burst of quickness at the LOS, allowing him to get the edge on the offensive line. He has a low pad level, and uses his very good hand strength to control and steer the lineman. Or he'll use his very good bull rush and run right through them. Palmer is consistently in the backfield. Very good bend around the edge, mixed with good block shedding. His mental processing really stands out to me. He isn't easily faked out on read options, making the correct read leading to a TFL. Palmer will also rip the ball out of the ball carrier's hands. He's a very physical linebacker. He uses his lengthy arms to knock down passes at the line of scrimmage. One of those even turned into a tipped pick for a teammate. I'm very impressed with Palmer's performance, and colleges would be lucky to have him on their roster.

Vigil was the Swiss army knife for Forge Christian this past season. His linebacking stands out to me, however he can make an impact on both sides of the ball. The 6'0 180-pound senior played OLB/RB/WR. His stats are as follows: 136 total tackles (59 solo, 77 assisted), 11 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 INT, 2 FF, 74 carries for 845 yards and 14 touchdowns, 6 receptions for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had a total of 17 pancake blocks too. Vigil has very good athletic ability due to his very good speed, acceleration, good change of direction and balance. He is a hard hitting linebacker and has very good tackling. He's a hard hitter making the ball carrier pay. Vigil is a physical player, and rips the ball from the offensive. Very good mental processing to consistently watch the QB. As a running back, he has good change of direction and will use jump cuts to switch into a different hole. He has a good stiff arm, and is hard to bring down. He excels as a blocker. Uses a low pad level and very good strength to overpower and create running lanes. Very good hand placement to control and steer. Vigil also has very good catching and plucks the ball out of the air. He is a very exciting player, and colleges NEED to look at this tape.
