Upcoming Senior Kickers Poised for Hero Moments

Plichta measures in at 6'0 190-pounds with 86 total points this previous season. He had 87 kickoffs for 4818 yards, with 38 touchbacks with his longest being 60 yards. He went 53/57 on PATs, 11/13 on FGs with his longest being 47 yards. He had the most amount of FGs amongst the 2027 class. He has good kick power heaving it downfield. Good snap to kick speed. Plichta does a good going against the wind. Very good accuracy due to his leg control. He has smooth mechanics. He stays calm under pressure in big situations. Look for Plichta to continue his consistency going into next year.     Brust measures in at 5'11 160-pounds. He had 86 total points on the season as well tying for 1st with Plichta. He had 81 kickoffs for 4670 yards and 49 touchbacks, while going a flawless 65/65 on PAT and went 7/9 on FGs with his longest being 41 yards. He has very good kick power due to his leg strength. He explodes into the ball, launching it downfield. Good hang time on kicks. Brust does a good job at getting touchbacks against the wind. He has very good kick accuracy due to his smooth and fluid mechanics. Whenever Valor needed him to make a play, he answered the bell. Keep an eye on this kicker.     Quintana measures in at 5'10 150-pounds and split kicking duties with another standout kicker in [player_tooltip player_id='1954860' first='Ryan' last='Dattilo']. He had a total of 60 points. He also had 51 kickoffs for 3324 yards, with 39 touchbacks, and his longest being 73 yards, 48/48 on PATs, 5/8 on FGs with his longest being 31 yards. Quintana has very good kick power due to his leg strength. 76.4% of his kickoffs result in touchbacks, even against the wind. Very good kick accuracy as well, being flawless on PATs. Very good placement. Smooth and fluid mechanics, allowing Quintana to consistently kick the ball accurately. If there's a bad snap, he has the able to adjust and make the kick. Doesn't matter the pressure, he will still make the big kick. Watch out for Quintana to continue honing his skills in the off-season.     Mason was the K/P for the Kadets. He had 18 kickoffs for 930 yards, longest being 60, with 3 touchbacks. 26 punts for 1164 yards, longest being 72 yards, getting it inside the 20 6 times. He had a total of 14 points with his 11/15 PATs, and 1/3 on FGs with his longest being 18. Mason is an excellent punter. He has the ability to flip the field with his kick power. Mason does a great job with his hang times, allowing his fellow special teamers to reach the returner or force a fair catch. Does a solid job of handling the wind as well. I'd like to see more production on the FG side, but I think Mason does a great job overall doing both duties.     Thorne measures in at 5'11 185-pounds. Another dual K/P, he had 22 kickoffs for 1131 yards with his longest being 60 yards with 11 touchbacks. He had 18 punts for 729 with his longest being 54, getting it inside the 20 twice. 10/12 on Pats, and 3/4 on FGs with 35 being his longest. Thorne has good leg strength, and does a good job at setting his defense in good position when punting. Thorne has smooth, fluid mechanics allowing him to be consistent on PATs. Throne's kicks/punts both have great hang times allowing his gunners to reach the returner. I'm excited to see more from Thorne going forward!
