Being a part of our rankings team, I have the opportunity to see all sorts of film. A guilty pleasure of mine in that process is that I get to highlight prospects with film that I absolutely enjoyed watching. In this piece, I do exactly that.

[player_tooltip player_id='972902' first='Anthony' last='Lopez Jr.'] is a corner who appears to have cracked the varsity lineup at Paramus Catholic early in his career, anchoring the defensive secondary for years to come. Lopez does an outstanding job using his hands to interrupt his matchup's pattern and timing with his quarterback. Although he does find himself inside and losing his force leverage at times, he does not allow much separation when running in-phase and tackles well, particularly to his leverage. I suppose his big frame also gives receivers fits along the perimeter. Lopez also plays receiver, where he looks as though he wins many 5050 jump balls. Lastly, Lopez has good ball instincts and skills.

It is great to see young, fundamentally-sound, defensive lineman. [player_tooltip player_id='1020455' first='Aaren' last='Cirino'] is a mismatch due to his speed for offensive tackles at the freshman level. Additionally, Cirino does a great job of playing with a low pad levels, jacking his matchup up and on their heels when he does so. More times than not, we see Cirino get his hands on the man in front of him. Emerging hips are part of the equation too for this budding prospect, as we see him start to work them through when pass rushing. On offense he plays tight end and is used as a size mismatch and, honestly, a lot more in the passing game than you typically see.

Suiting up for Seton Hall Prep is [player_tooltip player_id='833951' first='Amari' last='Jones']. Jones attacks the field aggressively and quickly, looking to put pressure on defensive backs as they frantically backpedal. Snapping his hips when he enters the second phase of his route will make for more separation. A forceful runner, Jones appears difficult to take to the ground due to the sheer force he runs with. Jones is equally as fearless as he is powerful, showing that he is willing to go over the middle and take hits to the body to do so. Jones is mostly used as a possession receiver. I am curious to see how he can stretch the field and seeing more of his ball skills.
