Defensive Prospects Who Moved Up in 2027 Rankings

They are going to be some studs in this class. It was only right that we made sure to get him moved up in the rankings. This young man came out and had a great season. He is a 6-foot-3, 270-pound guy from Choctaw County that you need to know. He is going to be talked about a lot during his career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='453100' first='Chris' last='Willis']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Willis is a player who we see play a lot of different positions on the field. We feel like he is going to be a defensive back on the next level. He is one of those players who we feel we had to move up in the rankings. This is a guy who we think is a national talent. It is only a matter of time before he starts to blow up. He is from Hamilton. He is one of those players who you are going to want to know. He holds a few division one offers. This is a young man who knows how to check receivers. He also has decent speed. He is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound guy who knows how to use those long arms. Be sure to keep up with him. This young man is one of those guys who has a lot of speed. It is hard to keep him from getting loose doing his thing when he is on the field. He is also one of those guys who you can trust back there as a punt returner. We think that he needs to hit that camp circuit hard this offseason. We think that he is going to be a safety on the next level. He is even a guy who could do a good job at the nickel position. Tippett is one of those players who gets out there and plays with a lot of heart. We saw him in person against Houston and he had a good game. We are thinking that he is going to be a cornerback on the next level. He is one of those guys who knows how to mirror a receiver well. We also know that he is one of those guys who can get out there and make up for mistakes with his good speed. Griffin also has good hips. He is one of those players who knows how to handle himself on the football field. He is a guy who can really get busy in the trenches. This is a big boy who we think is going to start receiving some division one attention soon. He is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound beast who can rock and roll. He plays at Starkville.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
