2028 Linebacker Follow Up

You are going to be excited to see him play when you watch his film. Evans is an aggressive player who loves contact. He is a guy from Forest who loves to put his face in the place. There are going to be plays where you see him step up and make it happen. We also saw that he knows how to get out there and be efficient in their pass defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1647223' first='Hampton' last='Smith']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith is a player from Brookhaven who is also an aggressive guy. He knows how to get in the mix. Smith is one of those linebackers who like to get gritty. He is one of the guys who stepped up big for his team when they needed him. Smith has a good feel of reading keys and getting to the football. He is a 6-foot, 225-pound player who brings the pain. We have seen him lining up at the edge position creating a lot of problems. We think that he needs to dedicate this whole summer to getting better in coverage. He does not look like a guy who is going to get too much taller. Therefore, we think he needs to concentrate on being an inside linebacker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1171350' first='Lacorien' last='Turnipseed'] </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turnipseed is a good player who also loves to come up and get contact. He is a player who knows how to come up and get it. He is from Louisville, so you know he loves to be in big play moments. This dude is a player we think is going to be a box safety on the next level.
