It is not hard for Shumaker to shed blocks and get to the quarterback. He is a 6-foot-3 guy with long arms and long legs. The right strength and conditioning program on the next level is going to have him right where he needs to be.

There has been a heap of talent to come out of Ackerman, Mississippi. Shumaker is ready to be added to that number. He is a 6-foot-3, 240-pound defensive lineman that has a lot of strength. Shumaker already has a 75 inch wingspan. When he learns how to use his length, he is going to be unstoppable. Shumaker is going to be a defensive tackle on the next level. He will continue to grow in height and weight. Expect to see him starting with the varsity squad this season.
