Tippett is a player who transferred from New Hope to Louisville. He is known for being a player who is able to break open a game when things are slow for his team. Tippett had over 1000 yards receiving last season. That is not a norm for wide receivers in Louisville. There is a lot of talent around to get the football to. Tippett is a player who is also going to be able to play the defensive back position.

A super-talented three-sport athlete (baseball, basketball, football) coming out of Columbus, Mississippi, Tippett is one to keep on your radar. At 5-foot-9 and 150-pounds he’s the son of a basketball coach and his best sport is probably basketball right now with his ability to make plays happen as a Point Guard. However, it’s that same quickness, awareness and vision that also make him a standout Running Back. He doesn’t do a lot of dancing or waste steps after the handoff. From the second he has the ball, starts attacking the line of scrimmage and finds an opening to scoot through. I’m a big fan of how quickly he can accelerate, getting to full speed in just a few steps. Not sure how far his football career can go vis-a-vis his basketball or baseball career, but he’s a very good-looking athlete.
