He stepped in last season as QB1 for the Phoenix throwing for over 2000 yards with 16 TDs. The 6'0 180 rising Senior had 5 multiple TD passing games last year with a season high 5 verse Murray County.

Outlook

Pate has a high football IQ that comes with being a coaches son. He takes good care of the ball and the multisport standout does a good job getting himself out of pressure with his legs. We have him ranked as the #7 overall QB in 2026 and I feel like 2025 is the season he becomes a popular name all over the State. 2x All Region selection that accounted for over 2500 yards last Fall with 26 total TDs. He had 6 multiple passing TD games last Fall.

Outlook

Walraven has great next level size at 6'5 190. A true dual threat QB with a great arm. He will have 3 years varsity starting experience after this season at the States highest level. Elon has already extended an offer and more to come headed into 2025.

The Mary Persons 2 year starter has added some size since this update. He is now up to 6'3 175 and is one of the Top pro style QBs in the Middle Georgia Area. Nelson passed for over 2000 yards last season and did an outstanding job taking care of the ball with just 6 INTs in 241 attempts. He received an All State selection from Recruit Georgia this season but is still relatively under the radar on the Statewide level.

Outlook

Nelson has next level size with a good frame that could add more "good" weight. He has good arm with good technique and can deliver the ball with velocity in tight windows. I really liked his film and I think he may be one of the most underrated QB prospects in the 2026 Class.

Duckett is the most pure dual threat QB prospect on this list and I'm still amazed at how he is still flying under the radar. A two year starter that accounted for 2600 yards and 30 TDs for a Sprayberry team that may have been the most improved team in 2024. He had a breakout game last year verse Creekview accounting for 300 yards and 5 TDs in a 41-21 win.

Outlook

His passing accuracy improved a lot from his Soph to Junior season and coupled with his ability to run he became a true dual threat next level prospect. There will be a new coaching staff at Sprayberry in '25 and it will be interesting to see how they use Duckett in the new offense. He will for sure find a spot on a college roster, even if not at the QB position, too much athleticism to be over looked.
