Our first 1 on offense is our QB1 which is [player_tooltip player_id='1601731' first='Mitch' last='Grant'] from Tea Area, yet another Titans quarterback making his mark at QB1 in his class. Mitch shows off the great ability to fit his throws in constant tight windows on intermediate and deep routes and was a difference maker as the ball fits he shows at the top of his tape, you see a lot of upperclassmen struggle with those types and Mitch makes them as just a freshmen, routinely. Mitch also shows off the great athletic movement he can make to set up his throws, buying time out of the pocket as one that still brings all the poise you want in your QB1 outside of the pocket along with great throwing mechanics that persistently shown off are shown off. The 6'1 175 pounder from the Titans, is one the most intriguing freshmen quarterbacks we have seen in the Prep Redzone Dakotas era dating back to 2020.

We have seen this story before out of Herreid-Selby, as we find another Wolverine tipping our scales early as our RB1 in 2028 is running back [player_tooltip player_id='1422534' first='Porter' last='Gregg'] . The last RB1 we tracked out of Herreid-Selby was SDSU running back Brendan Begeman, who we got on our radar very early as well like Porter did at camps last summer. Porter logged just about 1000 yards which is a tough feat, but when you do it as a freshman it's even more intriguing for what is to come for him. The change of direction that Porter has fluidly shows off right away, as one that you tell quickly how great his vision in tighter areas on the field. The 5'9 170 pounder for the Warriors, I also found to be more durable with lower body than I expected, as Porter runs thru contact without much movement in the legs as he shows a lot of balance. Porter is one that can turn north to south with great instincts and one that verified he has good hands and balance too at the Jamestown Camp last summer. Family pedigree is also in Porter's favor, as older brother Chance was a Northern State football commit a couple years back in the 2022 class

Time to meet the top 2028 wide receiver in South Dakota and our #1 overall prospect in the class, [player_tooltip player_id='1601672' first='Aiden' last='Hammitt'] of Elk Point-Jefferson. I usually watch my tape during set times during the day, but this young man showed off a tape that me in the zone outside of regular scouting hours, that's just how impressive his tape was from my first look. The 6'2 170 pounder from EPJ, shows off an extremely long catch radius and a long route-running ability that looks shows off an excellent miss of fluidity and instinctiveness with his breaks. His length can take balls out of no man's land and end up in his hands as I already am impressed with how quick those hands get to his chest for his age. He does EXTREMELY well in high traffic areas too as he shows off super consistent hands on tape. Not only the top overall prospect in South Dakota, but I would also argue in all of the Dakotas. Without a doubt, if I was a Division I recruiter looking to get an offer out to the 2028 class in the Dakotas, Aiden would surely be my first one I give out, and he is just getting started. His tape just oozes with what any college program should want in their wide receiver core.

Cole was already an All-State honorable mention tight end as a freshmen, and our first and newest TE1 in the 2028 South Dakota class coming from the Lyman Raiders . It is always worth repeating, that Cole was one of my favorite 2028 athletes in attendance at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase in Aberdeen this winter as in the live eval, he shows off the outstanding catch radius I wanted to see in a 6'3 175 pounder that looks to have the body type to stretch out to be even taller and stronger over the coming years. The testing numbers from Aberdeen showed off the athleticsm that impressed me too, running a 4.82 40 yard dash and nearly a 31 inch standing vertical which is great for his age and class as his position. The tape shows off a more springy release than you would expect for a tight end off the snap, as Cole shows off a capable route runner that can come back to the ball about as swift as you would expect out of a pass-catcher. He consistently is using that long catch radius we saw in person too on tape. Our big word we pride ourselves on is evaluating at PRZ, is young men's “upside” and Cole is surely one that defines the term in this 2028 tight end class as a small school stud college coaches are going to watch for in the next handful of years grow.

I will say it, Nolan is probably one of the most under the radar secrets we uncovered from this offensive group and as the hog molly from Centerville came in as our OL1. The 6'4 230 pounder shows off constantly quick foot fires off the snap and constantly presses his leverage and drives into the second and even into the third level with all the leverage he can create from those initial first steps on tape. There is surely room for Nolan to get more balanced with his footwork, but as a basketball player as well, you can gauge as a dual-sport athlete that the growth will come sooner rather than later. Nolan also can get out and cause problems out in space as a pull-blocker and shows off a pad-level that has pinning hands to win the downhill 1v1 battle. Biggest hidden gem that is also number #1 ranked positionally in this entire 2028 class. Surely a young man I would love to find a Twitter for!
