2027 Rankings Update 3.0: Wide Receiver

The most recent class to be updated is the class of 2027. With this update being officially posted, I will be taking the next couple weeks or so to break our rankings down by position. Brown finished this past season with 51 receptions for 532 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games. Ja'Hyde is a very skilled route runner, using his quick release and breaks in his routes to create separation with ease. He has also shown the ability to use his athleticism to go up and catch passes at their highest point, making him a very reliable jump ball target in the end zone. As a sophomore, Brown caught 14 passes for 151 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Brown lines up in the slot where he uses his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. He is also a reliable run blocker, showing the ability to pick up blocks in the open field and drive his man out of the picture. He finished the year with 79 receptions for 1,014 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games. Weaver is an impressive route runner out of the slot, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation from opposing defensive backs. He is also very dangerous after the catch, using his speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. Tysin also scored two rushing touchdowns as a sophomore and made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 11 tackles and two interceptions. Chicko finished his sophomore year with 46 receptions for 593 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. Carlo is a dangerous deep threat on the outside, using his speed to create separation with ease. He is also a very reliable jump ball/contested catch target, using his athleticism to go up and attack the ball at its highest point along with his strong hands to bring in the catch through contact. Chicko also played a role on defense, finishing the year with 64 tackles and two sacks. Wilson is coming off a strong sophomore season in which he led his team in receiving with 35 catches for 608 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games. Aiden has explosive speed which he uses to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game and to pick up yards after the catch. He is also a skilled route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. Wilson also scored one rushing touchdown as a sophomore, and returned one punt and a kickoff return for a touchdowns. He also made an impact on defense, finishing the year with 12 tackles and two interceptions, returning one of them for a touchdown.
