Committed to the University of North Carolina, Jariel had a senior season I'm sure he will never forget. On the season, Cobb ran for over 1500 yards and 23 rushing touchdowns, with a 10.7 average yards per carry, meaning that every time he got the ball on a rushing attempt, on average, it was going to be a first down. That is an incredible statistic. As a runner, Jariel shows excellent vision with the football in his hands. On numerous occasions, Jariel slips tackles for big gains on both interior and perimeter runs. Once in the open field, Jariel shows excellent burst and great speed to routinely make big runs and touchdowns.

With offers from North Carolina Wesleyan and Methodist University in hand, Paxton is coming off of a productive senior season for Central Davidson as a runner. On the year, Paxton rushed for 815 yards and had 17 touchdowns. Also a defender, Paxton had 54 tackles and 3 interceptions, including 1 Pick 6 returned for a touchdown. Paxton was recognized as an All-Conference player for his efforts. As a wingback in their offense, Paxton shows a good ability to burst through small holes and make big plays consistently, whether he is running up the middle or toward the perimeter of the defense.

Somehow, and I don't know how I am really just digging into this young man's incredible senior season. Yes, Pender is out there, but when you run for over 2600 yards and have 43 rushing touchdowns, it definitely warrants some merit and attention. That's what Jeremiah did this past season as an absolutely punishing runner who literally just ran through defenders on a routine basis on Friday Nights. The more puzzling thing, and a reflection of college football, is he doesn't have much recruiting attention at all. I think colleges at some level should take a harder look at Jeremiah, when you have that kind of production you can help at some level for sure. Jeremiah broke the all-time rushing record for his school this past season as well.

Tareavion is another highly productive running back who had a special senior season this past year for White Oak. Tareavion rushed for over 2200 yards and had 27 touchdowns on the ground, just some incredible production for this young man. Tareavion holds an offer from Catawba College, and honestly, he should have more recruiting attention in my opinion. Tareavion was selected to play in the East/West All-Star game after the conclusion of the football season. Looking at his film, Tareavion is a strong north/south runner who can run through contact at any level consistently. On top of that, in the open field, he shows excellent speed and vision to make big runs consistently.
