Since 2018 the All-Delaware Bowl has provided athletes in the 4th/5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade an opportunity and a platform to line up against some of the very best The First State has to offer in their specific grade. The date of the 2025 All-Delaware 8th Grade Bowl has recently been announced for April 25th and the roster selections are starting to be announced. Here's a look as at the class of 2029 prospects selected as of January 20th.

In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it's very early, in my mind, Spruill is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. This marks his third straight year being selected to the All-Delaware Bowl and is coming off an excellent showing in last year's seventh-grade game, he tallied 6.5 tackles and pick-six as a Linebacker. I expect him to duplicate that and put up big numbers as a Running Back too.

Promising Quarterback that helped Tower Hill School's middle school program to a 3-2 record in 2024, with both losses coming to Caravel Academy. Tall and lean with a unique throwing motion. Also a right-handed pitcher for the Titus Baseball program. Nick is the younger brother of 2026 QB prospect Michael Waesco, who earned Honorable Mention All-District Honors this season.

One of the most dynamic and explosive prospects I've seen watching him on film, Perry is a good one to watch as a Defensive Back and Wide Receiver. On the smaller side, but all the basketball work has given him an impressive vertical. Very quick sudden in his movements. Played for both Dover Middle School and the Delaware Wildcats during the 2024 season. The 2025 All-Delaware 8th Grade Bowl will mark the third time he has participated in the event (2022, 2023).

Though he's listed as a Wide Receiver as well, Dwayne Davis screams Linebacker to me after watching some of his film from the 2024 season. The Caesar Rodney product has a thicker build and looks more like Mike Linebacker in my opinion, but played Outside Linebacker for the Riders. Plays with good straight line speed. Crashes hard and closes quickly on the ball carrier. On several plays in his film, Davis makes a tackle for a loss on outside runs going to the opposite side of the field from where he lined up pre-snap, thus showing off that speed.

In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it's very early, in my mind, McCray is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. A tall, long Wide Receiver that routinely proved he was too much for most Cornerbacks and needed to be bracketed by a Safety. He was one of the go-to weapons on one of Delaware's top youth programs, the Delaware Wildcats.

In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it's very early, in my mind, Robinson is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. He has used the All-Delaware Bowl platform to show the state and the country what he can do on both sides of the ball. In 2023 he set the Bowl's all-time record for receptions in the sixth-grade game with five. Last year as a seventh-grader he was nothing short of stellar. Not only did he bring home the Defensive MVP, but also added a three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on offense.

Like several other prospects selected for the 2025 All-Delaware 8th Grade Bowl, this is far from Anderson's first time in the game. This March matches the third selection for Anderson, who has been selected/played as an Athlete, Defensive Back and Quarterback. The opportunistic playmaker made countless Johnny-on-the-spot type of plays during the 2024 season with the City Raptors.
