About Isaiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast and physical, using my size and length to dominate matchups on both sides of the ball. At wide receiver, I’m aggressive off the line, attacking defenders with strong releases and using my height to win 50/50 balls and high-point catches. I stretch the field with my speed but can also be reliable on shorter routes, using my body to shield defenders and make tough catches in traffic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I carry myself with a quiet confidence—I don’t gotta be loud for people to know what I bring. I’m naturally competitive, but for me it’s deeper than just winning, it’s about getting better every single day and proving that to myself. I take pride in my work ethic, and I’m always willing to put in extra work when I know I need to improve something. Mentally, I’m strong and I don’t fold when things

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I run track for my school focusing on high jump and the 200 meter dash

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through football and pushing myself to get better every day. I’ve learned how to lead by example—staying disciplined, working hard, and holding myself accountable so others can follow that energy. As a teammate, I understand the importance of communication and trust, making sure everyone is on the same page and doing their job so we can succeed

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges as I got older is my confidence. being able to go out there playing a game I love even with being doubted by friends or family

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that’s going to push me both on and off the field. I want to be part of a strong football program where the coaches are real, hold me accountable, and actually develop me as a player, not just use me. I’m competitive and I bring intensity, so I want to be around teammates who match that energy and push me to get better every day.

In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it’s very early, in my mind, McCray is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. A tall, long Wide Receiver that routinely proved he was too much for most Cornerbacks and needed to be bracketed by a Safety. He was one of the go-to weapons on one of Delaware’s top youth programs, the Delaware Wildcats.
