Riley recently made his mark as roughly a top 30 player in the 29 MD/DC/DE class and a top 10 overall DB. A twitchy & quick corner who also plays very smooth and in control. Riley shows nice instincts and makes strong break on the ball. Also able to play in the slot, Riley has a versatile shut down CB skill set. Looking forward to getting eyes on Riley this weekend to see him against some tough and talented competition. A lot to like in his game and could be a player on the rise going forward, and this weekend’s 7v7 could be the start of that.

In each of the past three years, our No.1 ranked eighth-grade prospect coming out of middle school has gone on to receive a verbal scholarship offer as a freshman in high school. Though it’s very early, in my mind, Robinson is on that short list of 2029 kids could check that box this year. He has used the All-Delaware Bowl platform to show the state and the country what he can do on both sides of the ball. In 2023 he set the Bowl’s all-time record for receptions in the sixth-grade game with five. Last year as a seventh-grader he was nothing short of stellar. Not only did he bring home the Defensive MVP, but also added a three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown on offense.

Starting off the list let’s look at CB/WR hybrid Riley Robinson. Robinson shows great talent as a corner, but his athletic skill set makes him an elite wide receiver. Robinson constantly uses his superior jumping ability to steal balls out of the sky, on offense and defense. But defenders beware, because if he gets the ball in his hands, good luck bringing him down. Robinson is as shifty as they come, snapping defenders’ ankles at every turn. Whether you are an opposing receiver, or corner, matching up against Riley Robinson is far from an easy task.
