FORT MILL | Just one day after the final state championship games were finished, players were already itching to get back out on the field, and they did just that at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase.

Hosted by Fort Mill, an excellent group of players got together to showcase their abilities and what they're all about. Here are 20 of those players that stood out.

Quarterbacks

[player_tooltip player_id='1228977' first='Chance' last='Cato'] Olympic

At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Cato has a great build to be successful at the quarterback position. His interesting throwing motions allows him to make throws that other quarterbacks usually are not able to make.

[player_tooltip player_id='1515057' first='Aiden' last='Fitzgerald'] Lugoff-Elgin

Fitzgerald may have thrown some of the more impressive deep balls of the entire showcase. At 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, he is a threat to not only throw the deep ball, but put his head down and be successful on the ground.

Brooks Dow Pickens

The long and lanky 6-foot-6 quarterback was impressive. He was able to put the ball on his receivers at the perfect moments and the ability to do that will be an excellent trait throughout his career.

[player_tooltip player_id='525514' first='Cole' last='Hough'] South Mecklenburg

Hough definitely does not lack any arm strength. The 6-foot, 170-pound QB launched the furthest pass of the day from any quarterback. Hough has an excellent balance of touch and zip, and knows when to properly use both.

[player_tooltip player_id='1407416' first='Aaron' last='Shealey'] Clover

Shealey, much like Hough, knows when and how to use the correct balance of zip and touch on his passes. At 6-foot-3 and 187 pounds, Shealey will also be able to showcase his skills on the ground when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='860400' first='Drevon' last='Dopson'] Brookland Cayce

Dopson was just a couple yards shy of Hough's longest pass of the day, and the 6-foot-1, 175-pound quarterback looked excellent throwing the deep ball the entire day.

Running Backs

[player_tooltip player_id='312450' first='Braydon' last='Johnson'] Dutch Fork

Just two days after winning a state championship, Johnson was back at it and may have been the best running back in attendance. At 5-foot 9 and 160 pounds, Johnson was shifty out of the backfield and showed good hands in the receiving game.

[player_tooltip player_id='402485' first='Cameron' last='James'] South Florence

Yet another state champion, James instantly stood out from the 40-yard dash and cone shuttles alone. At 5-foot-4 and 145 pounds, James was flying out of the backfield in RB vs LB one-on-ones. James will be a problem to tackle in open space for the remainder of his time at South Florence.

[player_tooltip player_id='1320897' first='Kaleb' last='Vines'] South Mecklenburg

At 5-foot-8, 175 pounds, Vines along with Johnson, showcased excellent hands out of the backfield. Whether that was a flat route or a wheel route, Vines caught everything thrown towards him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406127' first='Ayden' last='Leith'] Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound back is an excellent downhill and physical runner. Despite not being great out of the backfield in the pass game, he is still reliable to catch passes from there.

Wide Receivers

[player_tooltip player_id='1149045' first='Charles' last='McCray'] Carolina Forest

McCray, much like James, instantly demanded attention during warmup drills. His lightning-fast speed in the 40-yard dash mixed with sideline to sideline to speed in shuttle drills showcased his abilities.

Jayden Boyd Winnsboro

Boyd was the fastest man at the camp. No actually, he outran the five guys with the fastest 40-yard dash times. He's extremely physical in the receiving game and excels at getting off of a jam at the line of scrimmage.

[player_tooltip player_id='1580630' first='Billy' last='Miller'] Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

At 6-foot-2 and 178, Miller was a vacuum at receiver, catching everything thrown his way. It didn't matter what quarterback was throwing him the ball or what defensive back was on him, he caught everything thrown his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1363017' first='Kmari' last='Mizell'] Beaufort

Outside of Boyd, Mizell may have been the second fastest player on the field. His ability to separate from defenders on any route on the route tree was eye opening and he has a promising career ahead of himself.

[player_tooltip player_id='1327713' first='Matthew' last='Hillstock'] Easley

Hillstock has breakaway speed when running routes and has a great ability to go up and high point the football when making a contested catch.

Offensive Linemen

[player_tooltip player_id='1295662' first='Matthew' last='Atkinson'] West Ashley

Atkinson was extremely mobile and good on his feet. He has a feel for anything the opposing defensive lineman will throw at him. At 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, he moves with a good pace for his size and is nearly impossible to get around.

[player_tooltip player_id='1110005' first='Cody' last='Peterson'] Ashley Ridge

Peterson is much like Atkinson in the aspect of being quick for his size and good on his feet. He is 6-foot-5 and 305 pounds, making his pace and nimbleness even more impressive.

Tight Ends

[player_tooltip player_id='1576586' first='River' last='Thayne'] Carolina Forest

At 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds, Thayne is a big target and has an excellent ability to catch the ball out in front with his hands and pull it into his body to secure it. Thayne has good speed for his size as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='402485' first='Cameron' last='James'] Clover

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound tight end was active in catching passes both up the seam, as well as down in the flat and turning up the field. James and his QB Shealy will have a great connection for Clover in the upcoming seasons.
