About Aiden
Expert Analysis
Chris Dearing | Prep Redzone Scout
We’ve added Fitzgerald here and it’s yet to be determined what position he will play in 2025. He’s coming off a sophomore campaign where he threw for 1,234 yards and 19 touchdowns but he’s in a battle with sophomore Zach Williams for the starting nod. We don’t see a situation where Fitzgerald will not get any reps at quarterback but he’s going to contribute in more than one way. He can also play tight end and could be a pass catching option or an added blocker at the end of the line.

Aiden Fitzgerald played with some energy and won our strongest arm competition. I would describe Fitzgerald as a pure pocket passer build. He measured in at 6’1 205, making him one of the biggest in the group. Fitzgerald had the most horsepower on the deep ball thanks to his frame and longer developing throwing motion. He was consistent in his ball placement as well. With the power he has in his arm, he is fully capable of placing the ball all around the yard, even if his feet aren’t fully set. Fitzgerald caught stride in the middle of our camp and didn’t slow down until the end.
