As spring practice begins to wind down, players are beginning to look ahead to the summer camp and 7-on-7 circuit. The Prep Redzone Exposure Series will make a stop in the Palmetto State next Friday night on the campus of Richland Northeast High School.

The list of players expected is a young, but talented bunch. And while they may not be receiving a lot of attention from a recruitment standpoint, this combine could go a long way in helping them get their name out there. Here's a look at 10 guys to keep your eye on:

[player_tooltip player_id='1069233' first='Caden' last='Young'] | QB | Hammond

Young saw time as a freshman on the JV squad at Blythewood during his freshman year, and he made the most of his opportunities. He has a rocket arm that gives his receivers a chance to go up and make plays on the ball. He has good footwork in the pocket to make accurate throws. But don't discount his ability to make plays on the ground as well. He's athletic and shifty in space and if he can find a lane, that could spell trouble for opponents. We're interested to see what he does in next weekend's showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='1149053' first='Luke' last='McCourry'] | WR | Hillcrest

McCourry only saw time in 7 games in 2025 for the Rams, but he was productive when he saw the field. He will primarily line up in the slot and he runs good routes to be able to speed away from defenders and get up field quickly for yards after the catch. He is shifty in space and is tough to bring down on first contact. He had 444 yards, averaging 20.2 yards per reception. Next Friday's showcase could be a precursor for things to come in 2026 for McCourry.

[player_tooltip player_id='2067768' first='Sloan' last='Sanders'] | DB | Wren (pictured)

The range from Sanders and ability to see the ball and react to it is impressive. He can stay stride for stride with opposing receivers and jar the bar loose, even if the receiver is in a great position to catch it. We were also impressed watching his film with his ability to come up in run support and attack the line of scrimmage to limit the gains. He has good speed with a 4.64 laser timed 40 at the Carolinas Coaches Combine in Spartanburg back in late April as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1824391' first='Grady' last='Meetze'] | OL | Chapin

Meetze has good size on him at 6 '3, 280 pounds. And he can move people off the ball, especially in the run game. There were several times on his film where he pancaked an opposing defensive linemen. He uses his hands well and knows how to keep the defensive linemen from being able to get penetration into the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='1612459' first='Awesome' last='Cull'] | DL | Oceanside Collegiate

Cull made an impact on the JV squad last year for the Landsharks, and has great size to be able to move opposing offensive linemen off the ball. He uses his hands well to fight off a block and even if he can't get to the quarterback to make the sack, he will affect the throw and force them to throw it away. He can pursue and take good angles to the ball as well.

RJ Oliver | DB | Gray Collegiate

Oliver can make life difficult for an opposing quarterback. He has quick reaction speed to be able to recognize routes and then make a play on the ball when the ball comes his way. He's a difference maker on special teams as well as he can get downfield quickly and limit the gain on a return. He had 19 tackles in 2025 and didn't allow any touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1909406' first='Avery' last='Coyle'] | QB | Saluda

Coyle made strides at Lexington in 2025, and can sling it around, especially in the quick passing game. He takes what the defense gives him and will not force the ball downfield. He can also scramble around if something is not there, or he can be used on designed quarterback runs with a lead blocker to help keep the offense on schedule.

[player_tooltip player_id='2154774' first='Holden' last='Watson'] | WR | Wren

Watson knows what to do with the ball in his hands. He's impactful in the quick passing game with his ability to make the catch, turn and get up field for more yards. He can high point the ball and work his way through contact to make plays. He has good speed on him and is also impactful on special teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='2155277' first='Sheldon' last='Erickson'] | LB | Catawba Ridge

Erickson is a sure tackler when he sees the ball carrier come his way. He takes good angles to the ball and can limit the gains on a run play. He can also flip around on offense and they'll use him at tight end and he can create blocks in the run game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1823993' first='Logan' last='Newsome'] | WR | Palmetto

Newsome is a tough receiver who can make the competitive, one-on-one catches against defenders. He had an excellent sophomore year where he was able to flex outside to his left and make plays in the quick game and go downfield deep. He'll be a leader in the receiver room for the Mustangs heading into his junior season.
