COLUMBIA | The Prep Redzone Exposure Series at Richland Northeast HS gave us a chance to look at the wide receivers from around the state who may be inexperienced, made competitive plays throughout the evening that helped them grow in their route running and find ways to get open, even when the defensive backs seemed to have the upper hand at times.

We'll have more on the receivers in a later article this upcoming week, but here's a look at some of the receivers that caught our eye during Friday night's combine and in the individual/competitive period.

Isaac Arnold from Pickens did a good job during the pro shuttle moving from cone to cone, showing good body control in the process. The same can be said for Boiling Springs's Jaydn Jones, who had a good burst and stride when he moved from cone to cone.

James Island's Charlie Scherecker (pictured above) ran a great slant route and looked the ball into his hands during an individual drill. He caught the ball and got up field quickly for more yards. He consistently ran good routes and found ways to get open. [player_tooltip player_id='1631052' first='Zavion' last='Fuller'] from Mountain View Prep showed good hands on a quick curl route and did a good job of sticking his toe in the ground and getting up field after making the catch.

The ability to create separation is key for all receivers, and there was evidence of that on Friday. Cuthbertson (NC) Zac Bacheleder made an unbelievable catch near the sideline, which seemed to be a recurring theme with all of the receivers on the out route, like with what we saw from Summerville's [player_tooltip player_id='2213807' first='Hunter' last='Mizzell'], who had a man draped over him and extended out to make the catch.
