He gets off with great quickness, packs a huge punch and keeps active hands. I took notice with his great size right off the bat, and as soon as we started testing, I loved the way he moved. His L drill and broad jump showed that he was an explosive athlete with good technique. I was surprised to see him signed up as a defensive lineman, but honestly with his motor and raw strength and good build, it seems like a great spot for him. The lanky defensive lineman showed off a great first step, tested really well with a 4.9 40, 4.53 shuttle (DL record) and showed his technique to be one of the best all around athletes in attendance. His long arms kept offensive linemen out of his chest during 1 on 1 drills and he was able to work some moves to get around even the most agile offensive linemen. He took all of the coaching in stride and was able to apply it on the next rep. He has really good size and was able to use a great mix of power and finesse to be one of the most impressive defensive linemen in attendance. He didn't post the most impressive testing numbers, but his 101 inch broad jump did show off how explosive he can be. It showed up in the 1 on 1 portion of the evening as he was able to shoot out of his stance low and show off great bend to beat blockers right off the bat. I loved the way he was able to punch to open up the offensive player and get them off balance. A 4.8 40 and a 108 inch broad jump really showed he has the athletic ability to feel really good about his development. A bit undersized weight wise, it didn't slow him down in the 1 on 1 drills. He has a quick get off, great bend and has really active hands, keeping offensive linemen out of his chest and keeping their hands off him. He took some advice and applied it and it seemed to really help him. Overall I liked what he was able to do and think with some continued work this could be a nice find!! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
