He has a great get off he uses to shoot the gap. He showed off good power as he frequently stood up the much bigger offensive lineman across from him. He has violent hands and sheds well. He was in the Irish backfield all day long. Even recognized a screen pass and nearly made the diving interception.</p>

He showed the ability to shed blockers and shoot gaps to make plays. Looked comfortable in both run and pass defense.<br><br><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1207695' first='Ben' last='Uhlenhake'] (Bishop Watterson) 6'0 190-<br>9 Tackles/ 1 INT</strong><br>Really like what I saw from Uhlenhake during this game. He's explosive, fast, and downhill to the ball. He shows strong change of direction and fluid hips in coverage. <br><br><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='1579365' first='Antonio' last='Elizondo'] (Central Catholic) 5'10 220-<br>4 Tackles/ .5 TFL/ 2 QB Hits/ Blocked Extra Point</strong><br>The super athletic sophomore was playing due to an injury and popped big time in this game. He was shooting gaps and using his speed and explosiveness to make plays all game. He's thick and has a great frame as well to play the middle linebacker position.</p>

He just has a great feel for what the receiver is looking to do and has the athleticism to mirror and stay in the hip pocket.<br><br><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='730825' first='Jakob' last='Weatherspoon'] (Avon) 6'0 176-<br>10 Tackles/ 2 PBU's</strong><br>The athletic speedster in the Eagles secondary was flying around all night long in conditions that were tough on the defensive backs. He's comfortable in space and has the speed and instincts to make strong breaks on the ball.<br><br><strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1579373' first='Tyler' last='Thornton'] (Olentangy Liberty) 5'8 155-<br>8 Tackles/ 2 PBU's</strong><br>Thornton was sticky in coverage down field all night long and was aggressive in his breaks on throws to limit yards after the catch on the short passing game. Loved the confidence and aggressiveness he played with.<br><br><strong>2025 Jayonn Saunders (Anderson) 5'11 170-<br>10 Tackles/ Forced Fumble/ 1 PBU</strong><br>The Senior defensive playmaker for the Raptors came to play once again. He was strong in run support and did a good job of covering the backend.<br><br></p>
