<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Defensive Line</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='505525' first='Mason' last='Alnutt'] (Canisius) - A dominant force on the DL, Alnutt is D-I bound and will either attend UNLV or Purdue next season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1577258' first='Peyton' last='Brock'] (St. Joe's) - A three year varsity starter, Brock had a breakout senior year and was a big part of the St. Joe's turn around.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='806443' first='Sam' last='Ikegwuonu'] (Lackawanna) - The 2024 Trench Trophy winner has been a monster on the DL with over 200 tackles and 20 sacks in two seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Limmie Johnson-Bates (McKinley) - Johnson-Bates was a new name to many this season and he was a big part of the Macks defense that made it to the Sectional finals this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Linebackers</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1293300' first='David' last='Amuka'] (St. Joe's) - A first year Marauder, Amuka helped transform the St. Joe's defense and reach the Monsingor Martin championship.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jeremiah Shuford (Health Sciences) - Another breakout player, Shuford tortured opposing offenses and stuffed RBs all season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1241972' first='Chase' last='Bonta'] (Jamestown) - Bonta could have easily made the All WNY Team as a RB as well. He was one of the few Class AA players that played both sides of the ball full time and he was named a Connolly Cup finalist because of it. Just a junior, Bonta will be in the 2025 CC preseason conversation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cole Bloomquist (Jamestown) - A two-time All-WNY selection, Bloomquist has recorded over 100 tackles in both seasons and was a big part of the Red &amp; Green's "Cinderella" season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Defensive Backs</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1293205' first='Justin' last='Hartwig'] (Lancaster) - A two way stud for the Sectional champions, Hartwig was a shutdown corner all year long. He has a nose for the ball and was the MVP in the Legends win over Jamestown at Highmark Stadium.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='505530' first='Noah' last='Mcduffie'] (Bennett) - A dynamic playmaker with ball hawking skills, McDuffie will be a highly touted collegiate recruit in the upcoming months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='390762' first='Jahyden' last='Clark'] (Canisius) - A two way stud, Clark is leaving Canisius as their all time leading receiver as well as their driving force a DB.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1212870' first='Cory' last='Holleran'] (Salamanca) - Coming in to 2024, Holleran was listed as a top DB in Section VI and he did not disappoint.
