David was in at QB for about half of this game after QB1 went down with what looked like a concussion.

I actually watched all of the QBs warm-up during pregame. Without initially knowing who was who, I thought David was the best pre-game passer. There, I liked his footwork and overall accuracy. More consistent than the rest.

In-game, David was a bit more inconsistent. Like a lot of QBs, David's mechanics took a step back, and in turn, his accuracy decreased as well. A few missed throws from David really turned the momentum in Mason's favor. Still, I think David is a super-talented QB who will likely take a massive step forward next season.

Jacarri flashed some impressive moments as QB1. Passing the football, he was by far the most consistent QB. He doesn't have elite size or accuracy, but he made some impressive throws.

Speaking of impressive throws, Jaccari did some of his best work outside of the pocket. His athleticism is a key asset that allows him to evade pressure and extend plays.

I don't think Jacarri is big enough to be a college QB in most places. However, I believe Jacarri can be a dynamic weapon in college at a variety of other positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1148704' first='Donovan' last='Triplett'] should be getting more Division 1 looks. It's one thing to watch Donovan on tape, and it's a completely different thing to watch him on Friday Night.

He took pregame very, very seriously. Every drill, stretch, practice play, etc- Donovan was locked in. I watch a lot of players, even great prospects, go through the motions during warm-ups. Donovan is not one of those players, and that's a massive compliment.

In-game, Donovan was the centerpiece of the Walled Lake Western offense. He earned a ton of touches, and was able to break a few for great yardage. Donovan does his best work outside the tackles in space, not surprising considering his size.

I'd expect Donovan to impress college coaches this offseason. As long as he posts solid athletic testing numbers, he'll earn more MAC offers.

Lucas was a nice change of pace at the running back position. He was by far Walled Lake Western's best option when running inside the tackles. Taking inside carries, Lucas was able to use his size to barrel through tackles much more effectively than their other options.

He wasn't perfect though- Lucas could really improve upon his contact balance in particular.

Considering his size, Lucas could 100% earn a college football opportunity as a linebacker. Great height, obvious work done in the weight room, and a high ceiling moving forward if he chooses to play college football.

Shorter evaluation on [player_tooltip player_id='602014' first='Troy' last='Temple'].

He played exactly how I thought he'd play. Just like on tape, Troy plays with a ton of aggression. Against the run, Troy works downhill and tackles effectively. Against passes, especially those outside the hashes, Troy does an excellent job of getting home and delivering a big hit.

The only big issue with Troy is his size. He's tall, but very slim without much muscle mass. With better size, I'm supremely confident Troy would be a better Division 1 prospect. Troy has an excellent opportunity to develop into a star in the GLIAC or MAC.

I watched Brandon for quite a few snaps. In general, Brandon did well but wasn't perfect either. He's a good man-to-man DB with good enough athleticism to stick with the Mason WRs- who are generally great route-runners but not elite athletes.

Brandon could improve his footwork this offseason. Keep repping man coverage while working on those athletic drills, and Brandon will definitely be a D3 prospect, if not a GLIAC prospect this Spring.
