[player_tooltip player_id='1238635' first='Ethan' last='Headings'] (Twitter), DB/ATH - Iowa City West - 6'2" 185 lbs

Iowa City West's [player_tooltip player_id='1238635' first='Ethan' last='Headings'] earned a bigger role in year three and definitely opened some eyes this season. He finished his junior campaign with 58 tackles, 3 TFLs, an interception, 146 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns. Headings is a versatile athlete who could be moved all over the defense from safety/nickel corner to outside linebacker and could even play receiver at the next level. Ethan is very fluid in coverage with the ability to change directions, switch off receivers, and stay in their hip pocket through the rep. Another thing that stood out about Ethan was his willingness to step into the box to help out in run support. He closes on the ball very well and is a sure tackler when he gets to the ball. Good size and length at 6'2” and 185 pounds. Solid looking prospect with massive upside!

[player_tooltip player_id='1241533' first='Ty' last='Sanchez-Evans'] (Twitter), TE - Mason City - 6'3" 240 lbs

Mason City's [player_tooltip player_id='1241533' first='Ty' last='Sanchez-Evans'] could be next in a long line of talented tight ends to come out of Iowa. [player_tooltip player_id='1241533' first='Ty' last='Sanchez-Evans'] is a very interesting prospect who flashes all the tools that project well to the next level but still seems to be flying under the radar. The Riverhawk prospect hauled in 28 receptions for 344 yards and six receiving touchdowns while also producing 28 tackles, 4 TFLs, a sack, and an interception on defense. Ty's physicality is what immediately stands out to me, which show when he's fighting for a contested catch or blocking in the run game. He has strong hands and a lengthy reach that allow him to catch anything in his direction. Sanchez also might be the top blocking tight end in his class. Get this guy on campus ASAP!

[player_tooltip player_id='1227598' first='Houston' last='Luce'] (Twitter), DL - Ankeny Centennial - 6'0" 220 lbs

Ankeny Centennial's [player_tooltip player_id='1227598' first='Houston' last='Luce'] showed great promise as a sophomore and continued to improve in year 3. Luce recorded 20 tackles, 4 TFLs, and 2 sacks on the season. Although there still isn't junior tape for Houston, he flashed a lot of promise with his mix of power, use of leverage, and speed off the ball. Luce possesses a very quick first step that allows him to fire out of his stance and make explosive contact with his opponent. His ability to convert speed to power is enough to blow blockers off their spot and help him penetrate into the backfield. Great pursuit of the ball with a non-stop motor. Definitely someone to watch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1221954' first='Cael' last='Roberts'] (Twitter), OL - Southeast Polk - 6'4" 300 lbs

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1221954' first='Cael' last='Roberts'] was one of the unsung heroes on the Ram's road back to the Dome and had a MASSIVE game in the 5A championship game. Roberts was a stonewall at the right tackle position for SEP, showing he can match up well against some of the top DLs in the state. He is of excellent size for the next level and has the matching power to overwhelm defenders at the point of attack. One part of Cael's game that really sticks out is his mobility, both in pass protection and run blocking. He's very smooth and light on his feet when dropping in pass protection with the speed and length to corral even some of the twitchiest pass rushers. Roberts is also a road grader when run blocking, showing he can climb up to the second level and has the strength/leg drive to clear out lanes for his backs. Very smart and reactive player. With the level of play shown on tape and playing at a high profile school like SEP, I wouldn't be surprised to see some major programs start to reach out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241519' first='Cody' last='Sandbulte'] (Twitter), LB - Sioux Center - 6'3" 205 lbs

Although Sioux Center didn't have the season outcome they wanted, there were still some bright spots, especially with the upside shown by junior LB/ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1241519' first='Cody' last='Sandbulte']. During his junior campaign, Cody tallied 43.5 tackles, 2 TFLs, a sack, 288 rushing yards, and 4 rushing touchdowns. Cody is a well-built prospect with a strong, athletic 6'3” and 205 pound frame. He displays nice lateral quickness with sideline-to-sideline range. Sandbulte does an effective job filling in gaps against the run and has the downhill burst to find himself wreaking havoc behind the line of scrimmage. Cody is a solid tackler who uses good technique and has the power behind his hits to ensure the ball carrier goes down. Good IQ and instincts. Someone to buy stock in EARLY!
