Urrutia proved to be a key contributor for Thompson Valley, demonstrating his ability to keep the offense moving. Carrying the ball 19 times for 118 yards and a touchdown, Urrutia consistently made the first defender miss and created chunk plays to maintain drives. His ability to find space and capitalize on opportunities was crucial to his team's success. Urrutia's explosiveness when the ball is in his hands makes him a constant threat, especially as he picks up momentum late in the season. As Thompson Valley prepares for the next round, Urrutia will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in keeping the chains moving and generating big plays.     Baker showcased his versatility for Discovery Canyon, serving as a dynamic playmaker both on the ground and through the air. Baker rushed 17 times for 109 yards and a touchdown while adding a 37-yard touchdown reception. His aggressive running style made him difficult to bring down, as he consistently picked up chunk yardage. Baker's ability to break tackles and turn short gains into explosive plays opens up the offense and forces opposing defenses to stay alert. As a workhorse back, Baker will remain a focal point in Discovery Canyon's playoff push, with his game-changing ability likely to make the difference in key moments.     Myers was a dominant force for Severance, patrolling the field as a relentless linebacker. With 7 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble, Myers wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. His instincts and vision allowed him to quickly read plays and attack downhill, meeting ball carriers in the backfield. Myers is the type of defender who disrupts game plans and creates momentum-shifting plays. Heading into the next round, Severance will rely on Myers to continue his defensive excellence and help shut down opposing offenses.     Contreras made his mark as a versatile two-way player for Green Mountain. Offensively, he carried the ball 17 times for 113 yards and a touchdown while adding 2 receptions for 38 yards. His speed and vision made him a threat to break big plays, as he consistently found openings and made defenders miss. On defense, Contreras contributed 2 solo tackles, 1 assisted tackle, and 1.5 tackles for loss, further showcasing his impact. As Green Mountain continues their playoff run, Contreras will remain a vital asset on both sides of the ball, giving his team a competitive edge.     Munson delivered an impressive dual-threat performance for Pomona, combining his passing and rushing abilities to lead his team. Munson completed 5 of 7 passes for 87 yards and a touchdown while adding 141 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries. Moore maximized his touches for Windsor, showcasing his explosiveness with 105 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 9 carries. Brown delivered a historic performance for Pueblo Central, rushing for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns on 35 carries. Averaging an incredible 9 yards per carry, Brown dominated the game with his ability to break tackles and pick up chunk yardage. His relentless running style and knack for taking over games have made him one of the most exciting players in 3A football. As Pueblo Central prepares for the next round, Brown's ability to impose his will on defenses will be the key to their success and potentially propel him to even greater heights.     Elmore proved himself as a workhorse for Mead, carrying the ball 22 times for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns. His vision and explosiveness through the hole allowed him to consistently reach the second level and rack up significant yardage. Elmore's powerful running style and ability to make defenders miss in the open field make him a player to watch. As Mead heads into the second round, Elmore's ability to control the ground game and maintain momentum will be instrumental in their playoff success.
