Expert Analysis
Robert Davis | Prep Redzone Scout
Myers has been on the rise, using his summer with the Mile High Prep team in the Prep Super League to showcase his ability against top talent. He’s a disruptive presence at or near the line of scrimmage, recording 100 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks last season. Myers brings relentless effort, great instincts, and positional versatility. On offense, he also flashes as a tight end, showing strong hands and surprising acceleration after the catch. His combination of strength, burst, and toughness makes him a player you can move around defensively or plug in to create matchup problems offensively. Expect Myers to make a major impact this season and draw increased attention as a well rounded player with a high ceiling.

A relentless enforcer in the trenches, Myers delivered 100 tackles, 58 solo, and a staggering 17 behind the line of scrimmage. His explosive first step off the edge led to five sacks and 23 quarterback hurries, consistently collapsing pockets and disrupting offensive schemes. Adding to his disruptive nature, he swatted away eight passes, forced two fumbles, and even blocked a punt.

Myers measures in at 6’3 215 pounds, and this OLB had 100 total tackles (58 solo, 42 assisted), 17 TFL, 5 sacks, 23 QB hurries, 8 PD, 2 FF, and 1 blocked field goal. He has good athletic ability due to good speed, good acceleration, change of direction. He starts with a low pad level and initiates contact first with the OL. Good hand placement and hand strength. He makes himself smaller to fit in between the gaps. Myers has good mental processing. If he can’t reach the QB, he’ll put his arms up high to create a pass deflection. He’s a good block shedder living behind the line of scrimmage. Myers has good athletic ability out in space to go out in coverage. I’m interested to see how Myers does next season.

Myers was a dominant force for Severance, patrolling the field as a relentless linebacker. With 7 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble, Myers wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. His instincts and vision allowed him to quickly read plays and attack downhill, meeting ball carriers in the backfield. Myers is the type of defender who disrupts game plans and creates momentum-shifting plays. Heading into the next round, Severance will rely on Myers to continue his defensive excellence and help shut down opposing offenses.
