6 Friday Night Stars Who Rose to the Challenge In Sectionals

His efficiency, big plays, and ability to move the ball were on full display. He only had 4 incomplete passes on the night as he completed 81% of his passes for 317 yards and 6 TDs. He was efficient, made big throws, and kept plays alive with his legs. On the evening, Stephens went 28-36 for 400 yards and 3 TDs. He's got a big frame, clearly a confident player, and has the arm to make the throws. He went 27-36 for 417 yards and 3 TDs on the night. Although he did have 3 interceptions on Friday, it never waivered his confidence and he stood in there and kept firing. He was impressive and got better as the night went on. He was aggressive and went after the ball when it was in the air. He broke tackles and picked up YAC. His 7 catches for 173 yards and 1 TD. They were in a battle with Mississinewa and Hogue's ability to move the chains on the ground was huge. He made guys miss, broke tackles, and churned out yards in between the tackles.
