Similar get-off seen when aligned at wideout, Kosmalski has burst off the LOS, as well as good burst once he sees daylight and open grass when toting the rock. Hope he puts on weight so he can further handle runs between the tackles, already proving he can do so at 155. Good lower body balance, good eye discipline, can make a DB miss downfield if given the chance. Is a kick returner too, speaks volumes of his open-field presence. 20 tackles at safety, a good number. Sees and understands alleys and flows well for an underclassman. Can kick out block, can pull, can work a kick-slide. Again, I'd like to see more than two-minutes, but this is a promising start for a freshman trench player. A tough performance against CR North likely earned him some trust with coaches, should bode well for his future, he scored a touchdown in this one, all while breaking numerous tackles during the drive. Unassuming in terms of height/weight, yet the kid has some power in his legs. Freshman tape against HST has him helping out in run support from what looks like a DB position. Not many freshmen coming into the year carry a build like this. So long as he stays in the weight room and listens to his coaching staff, he could blossom into something special for UD, the second UD player on this list. WC East likes to develop their kids slowly, he might be on the JV team next Fall as well, yet he can make serious strides in the offseason through the weight room, as well as through extensive training learning the nuances of the wideout position.
