<p class="text-gray-700">Rubley had a nice game for the Regis Jesuit Raiders. The freshman QB threw for 253 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception, 22/31 on a 71% completion rate. Rubley showed off his good throw power, throwing some cannons to the receiver downfield. He has good ball placement as well, throwing it in stride with the receiver, or right on the money. I was impressed with his mental processing, if no one was open, he'd check it down to the running back for an easy gain. Backed up in his own endzone, Rubley stayed poised and found the man downfield. Great performance from the freshman QB, with showing growth throughout the season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The linebacker had a massive game for the Chatfield Chargers. The 5'9 195-pound linebacker had 11 total tackles (7 solo, 4 assisted), and 5 TFL. Espinosa used his good mental processing to identify the gaps, rushing them leading to a tackle for loss. He was consistently in the backfield giving Denver South pressure. Espinosa has very good acceleration and speed to zip around the field. Athleticism to cover tight ends. He showcases his good competitive toughness by assisting teammates tackle. Espinosa watches the QB's eyes, and doesn't take his eyes off the ball. He has good block shedding, and lays the boom to the ball carrier. Great performance by the senior.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Rillos made a name for himself against the defending champs. The 6'3 sophomore had 7 catches for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns. He used his good speed and acceleration to consistently get open. He has good mental processing, diagnosing the coverage was man, and burned the slot corner for a big gain. Will come back to QB during the scramble drill. Rillos has good release, and separation quickness. He is a very fluid route runner. Good catching, he goes out and attacks the ball. After the catch, he'll use his home run speed to blaze past defenders. He will also put his shoulder down, running through defenders with his powerful legs as the driving force. One play that really impressed me, was he kept moving in the endzone, but wasn't expecting the ball. The QB made an off platform throw to Rillos, he adjusted and made the touchdown. I was very impressed with how Rillos played, especially in an important game against the defending champs.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Schield had an impressive linebacker performance this past Friday. The 6'2 200-pound junior had 15 total tackles (12 solo, 3 assisted), and 1 TFL. Schield has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, and good change of direction. He was consistently all over the field making plays on defense. He has very good strength, allowing him to bulldoze through the offensive line. He'll swat their arms away. He's a good block shedder, not getting wrapped up by the OL. Schield's run stopping is impressive. He stops them in their tracks, wrapping them up and bringing them down. His physicality is shown throughout his game, as he loves to lay the boom on unsuspecting ball carriers. He's a rising prospect that more people need to know about.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Veazy showed out for Ponderosa. The 6'0 190-pound senior had 11 carries for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns. Veazy has good athletic ability due to good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. At the line of scrimmage, he uses his good vision and change of direction to create dynamic cuts allowing him to shift into the holes made by his offensive line. A nice mixture of speed and power. Veazy isn't afraid of getting hit. He'll put his shoulder down to create contact with the defensive player. Veazy uses his powerful legs to drive through defenders. Great performance.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Skeen had a nice night for himself. The 5'9 140-pound senior had 7 total tackles (4 solo, 3 assisted), 1 INT, and 2 PD. Skeen used his good athletic ability to lock down corners all night. He has good mental processing, by watching the QB's eyes and watching the receiver simultaneously. He puts himself in position to make the interception. Skeen has a good back pedal in man coverage, while maintaining a stride for stride with the wide receiver. Good diagnosing where the receiver is going to go in zone coverage. Skeen has good ball tracking skills, and will pluck the ball out of the air for the interception. Another stellar performance in Skeen's belt.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mozer had a monster game against Prairie View. The 6'3 210-pound senior had 6 catches for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns. His longest reception was 69 yards. Mozer's very good athletic ability was on full display. He used his very good acceleration, speed, and jumping to consistently make himself open. He has a very good release, and uses his very quick feet to get the one up on the corner. On one of his TD plays, he identified a void in the zone. He ran into that void in the endzone for the easy TD. He has very good ball tracking skills. Very good catching. He'll adjust his body, then goes up to attack the ball. Mozer uses his home run speed after the catch to blaze past defenders in the 2nd and 3rd level. Colleges need to be looking his way, as he has a mixture of size and speed needed to succeed at the next level.</p>
