Week 6 Game Balls

Below are the top performers from those games that stood out and need to be recognized.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Gavin was able to take over the game this past weekend versus Boys Latin in OLMC 28-7 victory. He went 11 of 15 for 245yds passing, added 138 rushing yds and had 3 total TDs (2 rushing 1 passing). His ability to use his legs allowed the passing game to open up as the game went on. Gavin ran on designed runs, multiple QB powers, as well as scrambling for yards. Was able to get the ball out quick and shoot it into tight windows in the passing game. Gavin was impressive in his ability to lead his team to victory and was a key factor all game long.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/gavinjharrison/status/1844820170390503456 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Tristin had an impact on the game from the first whistle, taking the opening play 60+ yards on a catch and run for a touchdown. He had another long reception that set up a Franklin score as well as taking a quick screen pass in for his 2nd touchdown of the game. Tristin showed burst and explosiveness throughout the game while showing what an offensive weapon he can be. Lining up in the backfield or the slot, he is a versatile player that should be getting on a lot of colleges radars.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/tdhald/status/1844501286382948495 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">While it was a losing effort in Reservoir's game vs. Franklin, Moses balled out and showed why he is a D1 prospect. For the game he had 9 total tackles, 4 TFls, and 2 sacks. Moses imprinted himself on the game and had a standout defensive effort to keep his team in it as long as possible. He was explosive off the edge, able to get into the backfield quickly and impact the play even if it wasn't him making the tackle. Bailey showed great athleticism and hips, holding the edge while attacking and chasing down ball carriers from behind. He is a high level talent that shows up every game.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/MosesBailey9/status/1844971686023614836 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Not sure if anyway had a bigger standout out weekend for Jordon as Perryville won big time over Elkton. Jordon was responsible for 4 total TDs on the night, 3 rushing and 1 receiving. He was a workhouse for Perryville all night long and was playing both ways at LB as well. Running the ball, Jordon showed nice patience and great footwork in the hole. He was able to make guys miss with strong cuts, run through arm tackles and show off some good speed to get into the end zone. It was a highlight game for Jordon and I expect him to have many more like it this season.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/tdhald/status/1844902783184736449 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Jayden was another big time playmaker for Perryville in their win this past weekend. Making plays on both sides of the ball at WR and CB. Jayden looks every big the part of a D1 player with his height/length/athleticism. He had a nice interception in 1v1 coverage down the field, in which he located the ball quicker than the WR to put himself in position to snag the pass for the pick. Jayden had a few other PBUs, some strong tackles and was basically a shut down corner all game long. On offensive he made some good plays at WR, with multiple receptions and good YAC. His long stride and fluid hips stand out on both sides of the ball. The surprise of the game on Jayden was how strong off a down field blocker he was at WR. Made multiple key blocks to spring big plays for the Perryville offense. Both stalk blocking and just running down field and laying guys out. Shows his commitment to the game and his overall physicality and strength. Jayden is a high level playmaker that is a must see 2026 prospect.</p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Jaydenbyard21/status/1837599198432080278 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Shawn impressed on both sides of the ball at OT and DE in Elkton's game versus Perryville. He has a good size/frame/length and he used those to his advantage. He recorded one sack and multiple tackles as he got after the ball all game long. Showed a high motor and ability to re-direct and chase down the ball. On offense he used his length to lock out defenders and keep them away from the QB. Shawn sank his hips and had a strong stance allowing him to stonewall the D-line. He is a good athlete who can run on his toes and get out in space, allowing him to be impact at both OT and DE.
