Mid Season Report Card: Checking In on the Top 8 Ranked ’27 LBs

Brown gets it done in the weight room. Has recorded max 330 BP, 275 PC and has a 36.7 vertical jump. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This natural athlete has already caught the attention of recruiters all over the P4 level. Solid build that with one look you can tell he works his tail off in the weight room and has transitioned that to the field where he is having an outstanding Soph season with the #4 AAAAAA Bulldogs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Great foot speed and nose for the football, Godfree has recorded 76 TT with 8 TFL for the undefeated Bulldogs playing in Georgia's highest classification. He has also added 2 sacks and 2 INT from his LB spot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He picked up interest after an outstanding freshman season, picking up offers from Ohio St and Oklahoma among others. Long arms that he uses to keep the blockers at bay. Has a good quickness to the ball and can pursue sideline to sideline. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I really like the upside for this guy. Long frame and arms that has the ability to add good weight and will probably grow an inch or two before his high school career is over. Was a 2x BSC All American and was highly touted entering high school. Physical kid with a great nose for the football and high football IQ. He recorded 83 TT with 9 TFL last season as a freshman and has followed that up with an outstanding Sophomore season for the Seminoles. Through 6 games he has recorded 43 TT with 6 TFL including a sack. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Levell has good nose for the football and gets on ball carriers quick. A violent tackler that understands the importance of wrapping up. Has the athleticism to drop back and be affective in pass coverage. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A solid multisport standout that may not be getting the attention some of these other guys on the list are yet but his time is coming. The 6'1 205 LB leads the #3 team in the State with 47 solo tackles, 73 TT, with an eye popping 28 TFL with 11 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If you like LB play you will love Batson's film. Quick, powerful, and has a nose for the football. Fearless tackler that will out to make the stop. Great pursuit angles and is unstoppable coming off the edge. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He has proven himself against some of the top competition with a season high 16 TT in a win over highly touted Warner Robins and 12 TT with 5 TFL in a win over powerhouse Colquitt County. Carries a 4.1 GPA off the field. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Batson is a diamond in the rough tucked away down in the SW corner of the State.
