Brownsburg @ Hamilton Southeastern Key Playmakers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Friday night, we were treated to an awesome matchup that did not disappoint. The 8-0 Bulldogs traveled to the 5-3 Royals, and the two went at it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hamilton Southeastern was able to keep the game under control. He didn't take sacks or make simple mistakes that put them behind. His best throw on the night was the TD to Toner right in stride in the endzone off a slant. Weston also converted a key 3rd down with his legs which forced the Bulldogs to use their timeouts and ended the game. You could feel the air was sucked right out of the stadium, but Alexander stepped up. On the ensuing kickoff, Alexander called game. Unfortunately for them, Hamilton Southeastern was locked in. playing their best ball of the year. Kelly came up with a huge interception and got the ball right back for the Royals which allowed them to run out the clock and get the win. After they forced a fumble on the first kickoff, Hoog got an interception and returned it almost 50 yards and set the offense up again. Hoog was flying around the field and made a few big hits. He went 12 of 19 for 181 yards and 2 TDs with the 1 INT. He added 41 yards on the ground with his legs and kept multiple drives alive taking off. He made tackle after tackle and had a game-high 10 solo tackles. He's got a good feel for the game and wraps up when the ball comes his way.
