Taylor just put together an impressive year and should build on it over the coming years. He's a good-sized back who can handle a full workload and run in between the tackles. He's got good vision and can find cutback lanes. He wasn't their leading back this year, but he still managed to put up 586 yards and 4 TDs on the ground to start his career.

Patton is an impressive back who got his feet wet this year, expecting to take on more next year. He's a well-built back who can fend off tackles and be a physical back. He's not afraid of contact and can run straight through defenders. He's got the strength to block in pass protection as well. With 333 rushing yards and 5 TDs on the year, we can expect more from Patton in year 2.

Cox is a 2-way player who didn't wait long to make an impact on both sides of the ball. He came in and immediately became part of the offense and defense. Defensively, he's a ball hawk. He finds the ball and makes tackle after tackle. He finished his freshman year with 82 tackles, 17 TFLs, 1 interception, and 4 forced fumbles. Then he added over 500 scrimmage yards and a handful of touchdowns on offense. He's successful anywhere he goes on the field and could easily be a top prospect when the class graduates.

Durham got his feet wet some this year and did a decent job. He's a versatile player and his future is wide open. Whether he's carrying it, catching the ball, or playing defense, Durham has shown he can do it all. While he's not refined yet, he's on the field and gaining confidence which is what you want to see as a freshman. He's smart and learning.

Ricketts Jr is a good athlete who is simply finding his way on the field. He's versatile and can play a handful of different positions. This year alone, he played on all 3 phases at some point. Whether it be corner, gunner on special teams, or something on offense, he's been everywhere getting his feet wet. Defensively, he's not afraid to come up and play the run, which is ideal. He's a bit raw, but if he can put everything together, he'll turn into a heck of a player.

Earvin is a scrappy player who is going to frustrate players down the road. He's not afraid to play physical and forced contact. While he's smart enough not to get a penalty, I love seeing a young DB being willing to play tough. He's a bit undersized as of right now, but it doesn't hurt his play, and if anything, is what gives him that scrappy edge. He's got to be creative, in their face, and harass them. He does a good job and will swipe for the ball. I think Hobart has a good one here waiting to be unleashed.
