Dozens of new names have been added to the rankings. Here are my evaluations of five of the mostly lesser known ones!

Joey has been an amazingly consistent player for ND Prep, and he's an elite Division 3 prospect in my eyes. Just last week, Joey racked up 177 receiving yards and a near pick-6. When I watched him against GR Catholic Central, several plays were made on both sides of the ball.

At receiver, Joey is a pure deep threat and a 1-on-1 nightmare. His top speed alone is too much for most opponents to handle. Several plays from his highlight tape show this. In addition, I like Joey's RAC ability and vision in the open field. He can improve athletically, and I'm confident he will in college.

Defensively, Joey is a ball hawk. Again, not elite athleticism, but simple, consistent, great fundamentals. Right place, right time, right on point with the defensive structure. When a ball is thrown near him, he always goes for the pick and Joey is always a threat to take it the distance.

Joey is a phenomenal high school football player and a key player for a prime state-championship contender. I hope to watch him play at Ford Field!

Casey is a very productive two-way player. Defensively, he's made several great plays throughout the year. Particularly against Cedar Springs, Casey read, reacted, and attacked the Wing-T offense incredibly well. At other points throughout the season, Casey has demonstrated great defensive instincts.

I also watched Casey run the ball a couple of times against Marquette. I'd definitely consider Casey an LB first and foremost, but Casey is a solid running back, given the carries. A bit stiff, but hits his holes and does his best to work through contact.

Honestly, I need to watch much more of Casey. I am very intrigued by his defensive tape and think he could be a good Division 3 football player.

Week 4-6 Highlights

I decided to rank Dylan based off of his good performance against Marquette.

There's nothing on Hudl, but I do have a few all-22 plays. He's an interior defensive lineman who fires off the ball quickly and has the stamina to play hard through four quarters. I see so many interior linemen become gassed after one drive, and Dylan is not one of those linemen.

I'm not sure if he's a prospect because of the very small sample size. He could be a D3 or NAIA prospect, but I'd have to see a bit more plus testing numbers.

Seeing Linebacker prospects play in person is VERY hit or miss. If I've learned one thing working this job, it's that you can't evaluate linebackers behind a computer screen.

When I saw Ansel play against Southgate Anderson, he was right on-par with his film. At his best, Ansel anticipates and attacks run plays. There are several instances where he's able to shoot a gap and earn a quick tackle / TFL, but there are just as many where Ansel takes a bad angle or reads the play incorrectly. Great effort- I love that Ansel is a passionate football player and he's a Division 3 prospect in my book.

I should have added Alex back during the last update. If you're unfamiliar, Alex spent some time at IMG Academy in Florida before transferring back to Cass Tech. He's a Power 4 prospect with incredible instincts. He can play anywhere in the defensive backfield and has the instincts + athleticism needed to succeed at an extremely high level.

I've heard so much of Alex, yet I've never watched him in person. If the stars align, I'll be able to watch Alex this postseason. If Cass Tech makes it to Ford Field... I'll 100% have an eye on Alex!
